About this property

Perched on the hillside overlooking trees and mountains in the National Forest land, Butterfly Haven cabin features covered porch, hardwood floors, stone wood-burning fireplace, full kitchen w/ bar, bath w/ garden tub w/ jets, bedroom on main level w/ queen size bed and huge bedroom/closed loft w/ king size bed. Living room has sofa w/ bed. Upstairs has roll away bed. Helton Falls Lodge has 7 cabins and lodge. We are located across the street from Vogel State Park. Hiking, Biking, Shopping, Golf, Rafting, Horseback ridding,Tubing, Fishing and many waterfalls are all close to our cabins. We are located in the middle of 5 mountain cities with events all year.

Everything you need for the price!

Everything was great! Very quiet and close to a lot of towns and activities! It’s basically on a cliff, so there’s no yard at all, but you are up in the woods, so it’s quiet and clean! The owner is next door, but I didn’t need anything, but they are right there if you do! 😀

One Night Stay

Late June - one AC unit cools downstairs, upstairs bedroom was really warm. Kitchen could use more basic cooking/prep items. Otherwise, it met our needs for one night.

Nice location but property needed work

Good location but my wife and I have some mobility issues and the steep steps and stairs inside were difficult. The cabin furnishings were old and worn. Just not up to our standards. We left after 1 night. Weather was tough as well.

Great cozy cabin...

We had a great wknd in this cozy cabin. It's close to so much to do. It was absolutely perfect for our family getaway. The leaves we're gorgeous this time of year. We absolutely return to this cabin in the woods...The fireplace was perfect also...
