Cozy vacation apartment in the heart of the Markgräfler Land near France and CH

Our holiday rental is not far from the beautiful medieval city of Colmar in Alsace and Basel in Switzerland.
The town and its surroundings offer everything you need for a wonderful holiday. Shopping options include Aldi, Edeka, and Rewe. Places to eat include restaurants and wine taverns. Nearby, you’ll find thermal spas and swimming pools, as well as doctors and pharmacies.

Schliengen has excellent transport connections. You can reach Basel, Switzerland, as well as Freiburg im Breisgau, very easily and quickly by train. By car, thanks to the proximity of the A5 highway, many destinations in the wider area are also easily accessible.
Schliengen is picturesquely surrounded by beautiful vineyards, the Black Forest, and the Vosges Mountains. There are numerous biking and hiking trails where you can explore the surrounding area. There are also many places to stop for refreshments along the routes. With only a few minor interruptions, the biking and hiking trails even lead all the way to Freiburg. #

The holiday rental is located on the second floor of our main house and is completely separate. It features two bedrooms (one of which has a small balcony), a bathroom with a bathtub and shower, and a separate toilet. We provide a hair dryer, towels, and soap in the bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a toaster, egg cooker, pans, pots, dishes, etc. The train station is a 15-minute walk away. The A5 highway is a 10-minute drive away.
We also offer pedicures and haircuts upon request, as my wife is a self-employed hairdresser and pedicurist.
