The trade fair city of Basel, with its many sights and museums, is in the immediate vicinity and can be reached quickly from Steinen station (2 km) by suburban train every 15/30 minutes. Day trips to Freiburg, Zurich, Lake Constance, the Rhine Falls in Schaffhausen, Europapark Rust and the ski resorts of the Black Forest and the Swiss Alps are possible. There are transport links to the A5 (6 km), Basel-Mulhouse airport (approx. 20 km) and Basel railroad station (approx. 20 km).
