Located at the foot of the Hochgern, our chalet offers a breathtaking view of the surrounding valley and the majestic Alps. With its romantic and inviting design, it’s the perfect place to unwind—whether in the cozy fireplace room, in front of the open fireplace in the living room, or by the fire pit on the terrace.

Subject to availability, our charming basement apartment can also be rented—ideal for families, friends, or as a private retreat.

Before your arrival, we’ll send you a personalized access code for the electronic Nuki door lock directly to your smartphone. The code provides you with flexible, contactless access—around the clock.

The chalet and the separate basement vacation apartment share a common front door. There’s also a private entrance to the main house that can be locked independently if needed—ideal for more privacy.

It’s important to us that you feel completely at home with us. Even though we don’t live on-site ourselves, we’re always available to you via message or phone—quickly, easily, and personally.

Our lovely co-host Julia lives nearby and is happy to help you whenever needed—whether with a good tip or a helping hand on-site.

🏡 House & Amenities

Shoes: We ask our guests not to wear outdoor shoes inside the house—to keep the space clean and cozy.

Fire pit: You’re welcome to use the fire pit in the garden—please be mindful of safety and weather conditions.

Crib: We’re happy to provide a crib upon request.

🔑 Access & Basement

Access: The path to the house is slightly sloped—sturdy shoes are recommended.

Basement Apartment: This can be rented as an optional add-on—if booked separately, there is a shared entryway.

🐾 Pets & Travel Companions

Pets: Well-behaved dogs are very welcome here! Please let us know in advance. There is a small additional fee for cleaning and extra effort.

Children: Children are very welcome! Please note that the property is not fully fenced.

Location: The house is located close to the center of Unterwössen—a bakery, supermarket, pharmacy, and several restaurants are within easy walking distance.

Surroundings: A nature reserve with beautiful scenery begins right outside the front door. The neighborhood features charming, traditional Bavarian houses.

Smoking: Smoking is not permitted inside the house. You’re welcome to smoke on the terrace.
