Our Wertes Holiday Home—Your Home Away from Home in the Bavarian Forest Welcome to your holiday home at the Werteshof—lovingly renovated, generously appointed, and surrounded by the natural beauty of the Bavarian Forest. Whether it’s a family holiday, a weekend with friends, or simply some time to yourself—our holiday home offers you space to feel at ease, relax, and explore. Our Wertes Holiday Home (140 m²) can accommodate up to 10 people. There are two bedrooms on the upper floor, each with a comfortable double bed (1.80 x 2.00 m), and one bedroom on the ground floor, also with a double bed. Additional sleeping arrangements are available in the living room and the reading room, each with a sleeper sofa (1.60 x 2.00 m). The beds are freshly made. The upstairs bathroom is equipped with a comfortable bathtub, shower, sink, and toilet, creating a relaxing atmosphere. Additionally, the ground floor features a separate toilet and a modern walk-in shower that is particularly convenient and accessible. For your convenience, we provide towels, soap, and a hair dryer so that you can feel completely at ease and enjoy your stay in comfort. Cooking is a pleasure in the fully equipped kitchen, which features a ceramic cooktop, oven, and microwave; a dishwasher and refrigerator with a freezer compartment; a coffee maker, toaster, electric kettle, egg cooker, bread slicer, and a SodaStream. The approximately 30 m² living and dining area, featuring a cosy tiled stove, is the heart of the home. It’s perfect for quiet evenings with a book, game nights with the family, and social gatherings with friends. Surrounding the holiday home is a spacious garden with a terrace and outdoor seating area—ideal for sunbathing, barbecuing, or simply enjoying the fresh forest air. The meadows with our sheep and chickens create a genuine country house atmosphere. Lockable storage rooms are available for bicycles, skis, and more. Free parking is available in front of the house, and a garage can be rented for a fee. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the house. Arrive, unwind, and feel right at home. A 20% deposit may be charged after booking. The remaining balance is due on-site in cash or via PayPal. We recommend purchasing travel cancellation insurance. Check-in is available from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Check-out is by 10:00 a.m. Other check-in and check-out times are possible upon request. Please contact us in a timely manner to arrange this if necessary. Keys will be handed over in person on-site. A cot can be provided free of charge upon request. Pets are not allowed. The tourist tax of 1.00 EUR per person per night will be charged separately on-site; children under 5 are exempt, and children aged 6 to 15 pay 0.50 EUR per person per night.
