Located on the first floor of a historic home, Hall & Oaks has been redesigned and lovingly renovated by a local Savannah architect. A ton of style has been packed into this one-bedroom, one-bath garden apartment on East Hall Street, which can sleep up to four Lucky guests.

The spacious kitchen space is a chef’s dream, complete with stainless steel appliances and exposed brick and reclaimed wood walls. Enjoy coffee at the breakfast bar or a glass of wine while cooking dinner. You’ll have everything you need to prepare a home cooked meal. The reclaimed wood wall continues into the living room, which has an inlaid beam ceiling, and sleek, mid-century furnishings. Relax on the large sectional sofa in front of the wall-mounted flat screen TV. The living area also features a writing desk, upright piano, and queen-size Murphy bed. The bright and cozy queen-size bedroom is anchored by a rich wood sleigh bed and dresser, and the adjacent bathroom has a large walk-in tile shower with rain shower head.

You’ll be just across the street from Kroger, the only full grocery store in the Historic District, but close enough to all of Savannah’s dining options to never need to cook! The area adjacent to Forsyth Park offers a charming array of restaurants within walking distance - from fine dining at Saint Bibiana or Local 11ten to casual fare at Collins Quarter at Forsyth or Alexander's Bistro.

Perfect location for strolling Savannah

Property was perfect for us. We stayed 3 nights but could have easily stayed a week or more. Easy parking, well supplied with coffee for first morning. Could not have been better.

We very much enjoyed this lovely apartment just 2 blocks from Forsyth Park and down the street from a great coffee shop. The neighborhood has georgous homes and non permit parking was a plus

A little misleading but fine for 2 quick nights stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Even with all windows opened and light pouring in, the house is never as lit as this photo here. We were inconvenienced because there was a terrible high sulphur water smell that penetrated the entire space when the water was run. It was apparently due to the water not being ran in a while. They offered us a 3 hour later checkout because of said inconvenience. The shower head had tons of limescale and mold mildew buildup as well. A quick bleach based cleaner would’ve solved that issue before customers arrived. This is our 3rd time staying with Lucky and this was the worst property I’ve seen, but luckily they moved quickly to resolve the main issue.

Wonderful apartment 2 blocks from Forsyth Park

Apartment was just as pictured online. Situated perfectly for exploring the Historic District on foot and in walking distance to restaurants. A Kroger grocery store is located across the street which was very convenient for purchasing snacks and bottled water. Only complaint was the smell of the water from the shower. It had a sulfur smell every time the shower was run. We were told by a local that is normal for the older homes but most have a filter to prevent it.

However, access to the entrance (steep steps and dark entry) is tricky and would be difficult for anyone who has accessibility issues. Also, it would be nice for there to be some everyday items such as salt/pepper, tissues, coffee, pad of note paper/pen, etc. provided on arrival. We arrived late at night and had difficulty seeing the numbers on the door lock and realized the next morning that we needed to go to the nearby Kroger for coffee. Finally, we would suggest changing the location of the microwave; its location under the counter, behind the cabinet door makes it difficult to use.

Reviewer Comments: This is a dream spot. it is so good that I want to bad mouth it so nobody can use it but me .... :-)the floor was a bit dirty even though it doesn’t look but walking bare foot, feet got dirty very quick. But this was not a big deal at all given all the pluses.The management company is amazing. they actually have people that want to talk to you and make sure you are taken care of. They are so responsive. it was just great. this was so refreshing these days where everything is automated and nobody answers phones anymore.

A few things that definitely need improving: for a 1 week stay for a family of 4 we were alotted & provided 1 roll of paper towels, 1 roll of toilet paper, 4 towels/washcloths, 1 single-load laundry soap. There were no sheets/blankets/pillows for Murphy bed. The property management company did respond and promptly brought bedding in less than an hour. The towels shed terribly, even though we washed them daily since only 1 for each of us was provided. The dryer door whacks you in the head as you're loading dryer and retrieving clean clothes.Host needs to take into consideration guests lengths of stay and number of people staying and provide appropriate essentials for the entire stay.

Great Location, Great Unit!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The location was perfect: quiet street within walking distance of everything and a Kroger across the street. The apartment had everything we needed. The listing says this is on the first floor but it is really in a semi-basement (the bottom of the windows are at ground level) but that was fine for us. Residents on the floor above are quiet. Our only hiccup was that our entry code didn’t work but that was immediately taken care of when I called.

Fantastic Place

This was a great place to stay. Pictures and description are very accurate. If you want to explore the Historic district, the location is great. You can catch the trolley a short distance away or simply walk to many historic sites or restaurants. Highly recommend this place.

Happy New Year

Everything was just as promised. Great location. 1.Supermarket across the street. 2. Free parking right out front. 3. Clean. 4. Towels,pillows,sheets, utensils,TV,internet,wine opener etc... 5.You never move your car. 6. 28 minutes and you can walk to anything you desire. 7.It is a basement apartment. No issue. Ceiling might be low for tall people. We're 5 ft 6 & not a problem. Conclusion: We will be back to this apartment again.

This is a gem of a property and first time stay for us. Pleasantly surprised as the space is beautifully designed and appointed. It had everything we needed and a plus on the walk-in shower and ground level access. A lovely and quiet neighborhood. Very close to a deli, grocery and coffee shop. A very walka!ble neighborhood and since situated in the historic district, you are close to just about everything. We really loved visiting Savannah and loved our stay at this property! Would definitely stay here again. Cudos to the property owners!

Excellent customer service. There was a dishwasher issue reported by previous guest but it was fixed right away. We didn’t use it because Savannah had great food and I don’t believe in cooking on vacation, lol. It is a basement apartment, it was very clean on entry. It is dark but it’s a basement and we were mainly there to sleep. The bedroom was a little warmer than I like even with the fan on but overall very comfortable. It is the south and with the heat in a basement came a few bugs but nothing that was out of control. It really is an excellent location and having Kroger right across the street to grab a couple snacks was excellent. It was also the perfect space for the two of us. There was a murphy bed but with one bathroom I probably wouldn’t be comfortable with more people. Personal preference. I will definitely be back to Savannah and might try a different Lucky Savannah rental just to check out other areas. I would have no problem staying here again though. It was close to so much!

Great Decor

The place was very nicely decorated and the set up was very cool. The listing should note it’s a basement apt. Sadly, there was an issue with the AC that could not be fixed right away. We were quickly moved to another apartment which was amazing. I would strongly recommend this property and the company they use. Thank you for how quickly you responded to the AC issue and making sure my sister and I were in a comfortably nice place afterwards.
