Domaine de La Contie – 17th-Century Chartreuse in the Heart of 20 Hectares of Nature

A 17th-century chartreuse, Domaine de La Contie welcomes you for an exceptional stay or to host your events.



Just one hour from Bordeaux and 12 minutes from a regional train station, you will find yourselves in a 20-hectare natural haven, surrounded by forests, meadows, and green valleys. The oak-lined avenue leads to a restored property, renovated with quality materials by a historic monument specialist. Horses, chickens, orchards, a garden, and a dovecote add to the lively and bucolic setting.



A place for relaxation and conviviality, La Contie combines rustic charm and authenticity. You can hike, ride horses or mountain bikes, swim in the spring or the stream at the edge of the woods, visit the Lascaux caves (1h15 away), or simply relax in the shade of the large lime tree. Various activities are available at an extra charge: local or vegetarian cooking classes, massages, lime painting workshops, wellness sessions, home cinema, a 75 m² room for yoga, dance or meetings, and sound equipment for your parties.



The estate offers 5 bedrooms:

A large equipped kitchen is also at your disposal for preparing and sharing meals.



Please note: bed linen and towels are not included, but can be rented in advance from the owner. One pet is allowed. The accommodation must be left in the condition in which you found it.
