Here you’ll find cosy bungalows featuring a small kitchen, a bathroom with a shower, a spacious living room, and a covered terrace. Bad Doberan is a spa town with a rich history. Sheltered by lush beech forests, it lies slightly set back from the Baltic Sea coast. The Doberan Minster, the steam-powered “Molli” narrow-gauge railway, and the mud baths have made Bad Doberan famous. These include Heiligendamm—Germany’s oldest seaside resort—and the Ostseerennbahn—Germany’s first horse racing track. The cathedral is a gem of North German brick Gothic architecture. The town’s appearance is characterised by neoclassical buildings, such as the palace.
