Your holiday rental at Landhaus Fischersruh on Lake Plau

The "Friederike" is a spacious, family-friendly holiday rental with a beautiful view at Landhaus Fischersruh on Lake Plau. Almost all of the photos were taken from this apartment. It’s a 0.5-minute walk to the property’s private beach. The beach has a gentle slope. There are two rowing boats there, which are available to you free of charge.
The open kitchen is equipped with everything you need.
A fantastic view and a place to relax and enjoy pleasant, quiet get-togethers.
The Friederike holiday rental is popular with couples and families with 1–2 children.
The bedroom features a double bed, a single bed, and a real cot (wood).
The living room also has a double bed and a sofa.
From the huge balcony (9x4m), you’ll enjoy an unobstructed view of meadows, nature, and the lake. In the evenings and early mornings, with a little luck, you might spot foxes and other animals—often cranes, wild geese, and deer. Badgers and raccoons also live nearby. A large pack of wolves lives 10 km away in the Nossentiner Schwinzer Heide Nature Park, but very few people see them—though they are definitely there.
The country house is located on Lake Plau on its own large meadow in Alt Schwerin, within a protected landscape area of the Mecklenburg Lake District. The house has its own
shallow beach. The house and the holiday apartments it contains are suitable for families of all sizes, anglers, nature lovers, couples, and large groups of up to 15 people.
You can swim, go rowing, and fish; take a boat ride along the reeds and see schools of roach, dace, and perch in the clear water.
If you’re lucky, you might even spot a pike. The lake is home to pike, perch, zander, roach, rudd, trout, dace, eels, and tench. Zander and catfish are rarer.
You can observe hares, deer, foxes, cranes, wild geese, white-tailed eagles, and horses from your huge balcony (west-facing—evening sun).

A fishing licence or tourist fishing permit and a fishing permit are required for fishing.
You can purchase the tourist fishing licence before your arrival from the City of Waren—Office of Citizen Services.
