"Die Lütt Matten" is a family-friendly vacation rental on Lake Plau, located on a large meadow within a
scenic conservation area. The beach on Lake Plau is 50 meters away—a 0.5-minute walk.
The private beach, which is shallow, is available exclusively to our guests.
There are 2 rowboats there, which you can use free of charge.
Right in front of the vacation rental is a playground with an unobstructed view of nature. Ideal for badminton, soccer, Frisbee, barbecues, etc.
A stunning view and a place to relax and enjoy pleasant, quiet get-togethers.

The Lütt Matten vacation rental has 3 bedrooms and is perfect for families. The large living room and the huge dining table for 12–14 people are perfect for family gatherings, among other things. The open-concept kitchen is fully equipped.
There are 3 bedrooms. One bedroom also has a baby crib. One bedroom is slightly smaller and contains a double bed measuring 1.60 x 2 m.
There is also a second full bathroom.
Thanks to the high ceilings throughout the apartment, the temperature remains pleasant even in summer. The terraces are covered.
In the evenings and early mornings, with a little luck, you might spot foxes and other animals—often cranes and wild geese. Roe deer, badgers, raccoons, raccoon dogs, and stoats also live nearby. A large pack of wolves lives 10 km away in the Nossentiner Schwinzer Heide Nature Park, but very few people have seen them so far—though they are definitely there.

The country house is located on Lake Plau, on a large meadow in Alt Schwerin within the Mecklenburg Lake District landscape conservation area. The house has its own
shallow beach. The house and the vacation apartments inside are suitable for families of all sizes, anglers, nature lovers, couples, and large groups of up to 15 people.

You can swim, go rowing, and fish; take a boat ride along the reeds and see schools of roach, dace, and perch in the clear water.

If you’re lucky, you might even spot a pike. The lake is home to pike, perch, zander, roach, rudd, trout, dace, eels, and tench. Zander and catfish are rarer.

You can observe hares, deer, foxes, cranes, wild geese, white-tailed eagles, and horses from your terrace (west-facing—evening sun).

A fishing license or tourist fishing license and a fishing permit are required for fishing.

You can purchase the tourist fishing license before your arrival from the City of Waren—Office of Citizen Services.
