Vacation in relaxing comfort at 11 Big Leaf.

This quaint home was remodeled in 2020!

Big Leaf 11 is centrally located, near the Woodlands Golf Course, and has easy access to trails to Fort Rock Park and the Deschutes River. This 2-bedroom 2 bath home sleeps 6 with room to spare. The master bedroom has a king bed complete with a private bath, dual vanity, and a jacuzzi soaking tub. The second bedroom has a queen bed with an adjacent bathroom that has a shower/tub combo. The loft, on the third floor, has two twin beds, which is a perfect place for the younger guests of your group to sleep.

The newly remodeled, well-stocked kitchen, has an island bar that sits 4 , perfect for those morning coffee conversations. The dining room table seats 6, perfect for your entire group.

The living room has a gorgeous river-rock fireplace for those cold nights. Sit and watch a movie on the flat-screen TV as your family relaxes on the leather couches


If you prefer, walk out onto the deck, where you can relax in the hot tub under the stars. Enjoy a soak after a long day of bike riding on one of the many paths in Sunriver.

This home comes with 6 UNLIMITED SHARC passes for enjoyment. These passes give you access to the SHARC, tennis courts, pickle balll courts, the disc golf course, and the Sunriver marina. You will have plenty to do.

Need to get some work while you are on your vacation, not a problem, this home comes with FREE HI-SPEED WIFI. Perfect for all your internet needs.

Great Sunriver Rental

Great place — the kitchen was exceptionally well appointed which made life easy, beds were very comfortable and the tons of dvds/books and puzzles made it feel very homey. Overall a great stay !

We Had A Great Stay

Great location and accommodations, only down side was no Air-conditioning on a few warmer days.

Memorial Day Weekend Stay

Great location in beautiful Sun RIver, Oregon. Home was spacious with lots of room to spread out. Very nice hot tub for relaxing in the evening. Kitchen was well stocked with all the things we needed to prepare meals. We had an excellent time and would return.

We made good use of the SHARC passes and the bicycles. Some of the bikes are one speed, which is mostly fine except for the few small hills along the bike paths.

First time in Bend

We came to explore Bend. We weren’t disappointed. Sunriver was great for our family of 6 - quiet and lots to do. The bike paths, while initially confusing, were great. The home is on a quiet street on the northern side of the community. We had easy access to everything- the river, SHARC and the village. It became rather hot toward the end of our stay and not having air conditioning in the home was quite uncomfortable. Other than that, we had a great stay.

The kitchen was very well stocked for cooking and the beds were comfortable. The heating system worked well - sometimes making it too warm to sleep however the house box-fans along with ceiling fans made it nice to move the air around. The hot tub was great for a dip on a cold evening. Really nothing negative to say - other than it is a ways from the Village if you are looking to walk. We would stay here again.

Some nice features, but unpleasant odor

This used to be a pet-friendly home and unfortunately still has a lingering pet odor emanating from the stained carpets. The location was also incorrectly marked on the VRBO map, it is not as close to the river as the map indicates, but it’s a short bike ride away. The home doesn’t have A/C so the upstairs master bedroom and loft got hot and stuffy. The loft is also rather high for children, we ended up not letting ours sleep up there. The hot tub was fun and location was quiet — we enjoyed seeing deer and we love all that Sunriver has to offer.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was clean. The week we were there it was very hot without AC, was difficult to sleep upstairs. Also the loft is not for little kids- it is steep. I would not let my daughters sleep up there because if they got up during the night they could fall. So house does not work well for young kids, or if it is hot in Sunriver.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We found the 11 Big Leaf Lane to have everything we needed. Though the weather was less than idea during our visit, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The kitchen had everything we needed, the beds were comfy (although my son said the beds in the loft were not "good"), the living space was clean and the bathrooms were great. The only tiny thing that was missing was a sponge for the kitchen sink. Hopefully this was an oversight, and not worth calling for as the market had one for $1.50. I never understood people who only use washcloths in the kitchen sink. The bikes were just OK. While there were 2 options with gears for kids or smaller adults, the only adult bikes were cruisers, which can be a little challenging around a few trails in Sunriver. We didn't use the hot tub, so I can't comment on that. I would stay in this home again, the location was great. Previous renters complained of a pet smell...and while this home is supposed to be pet-free, there was a bag on the hearth that said "pet cloth" as if it was meant for the couch if you had pets. There was a slight smell that bothered me, but didn't bother my son. We opened the windows and that seemed to solve it. The carpets are a bit tired, and would likely benefit from a refresh soon. This did not really diminish our experience though.

There is a cracked and popped tile in the Master Bathroom, the right-bottom gas burner on the cooktop would not light sometimes, and the lighter kept clicking. The gas furnace would not light sometimes. I jiggled the wire, and then it lit. The new hot tub was fantastic. Other than these few items, we enjoyed our time at this property, and would look to come stay in it again.

SMELLS SO BAD

Walk through the door -- immediate urine smell masked with cleaning supplies/fragrance. Intense. Opened all the windows. Still intense. I have a 10 month old and a 3 year old who play on the floor. This was NOT the experience our family wanted or deserved for the rate being charged. If you are considering this property, find something else.

However, our stay was not Pleasant due to the smell of pet urine throughout the house. Even keeping the windows open at night, my wife and I found it hard to sleep because of the stench. We ended our vacation exhausted because we could not sleep well there. I will not be staying there again for this reason.
