We want you to feel like staying with your close friends in a cozy and relaxing environment.

Exterior : Enclosed by tall trees and secured fence, our big yard allows you to have friends and family join you. We also have boogie boards, beach gear, fire pit, grill, outdoor shower, outdoor heaters, and even an extra shed for your kids to camp out. It is also safe for pets to run around.

Interior : The cottage has 1 bedroom with queen bed, 1 bathroom, 1 living room with sofa bed - queen, 1 full kitchen and a dining nook. The space is clean, light, airy, and relaxing.

Parking : You can park on driveway or inside secure gate, both areas have video cameras.

We had a wonderful stay at this Carlsbad beach cottage. The property was immaculate and very well maintained, and the host was welcoming and easy to communicate with.We really appreciated that it’s pet-friendly, and the location is hard to beat—just two blocks from Carlsbad State Beach. It made for a relaxing and convenient getaway. We would definitely stay here again.

Carlsbad’s secret tropical hideaway. The cottage is all you need for a beach vacation in Cali, but the backyard…holy smokes! Absolutely beautiful and private. I’m not sure who enjoyed the stay more us or our pup. The cottage is located perfectly, everything is walkable. Jim is a kind and gracious host to top it off.

Jim was great, he had great communication skills and made check in easy! We left LA early to avoid traffic and Jim allowed us to have an early check in at no cost. The property was well maintained and is a home away from home, great location next to shops, beach, and restaurant. Check-in and check out process was easy.

Excellent house and location

The house was just as described in the listing but the yard stole the show. The location is one block from the beach and parking was very easy. Highly recommended and would definitely stay here again.

Always A Great Stay!

My husband and I always enjoy staying here. Jim has created such a cool vibe to the cottage and outdoor yard space, that we love. The location is perfect to the beach and also into town. Can't wait for the next time!

Great Location

Perfect with Pups!

Overall this place was wonderful. The yard and outdoor amenities were great. Inside is on the small side but perfect for up to four. Jim was a great host, extremely thoughtful and knowledgeable. We had an amazing time and will be back in a couple of months.

Carlsbad Winter Getaway
