This beautiful holiday house is in Mursewiek, in the west of the island of Rügen, right in front of the bridge to the still natural island of Ummanz. The house with its attention to detail exudes cosiness and guarantees absolute peace and quiet, owing to its location somewhat set apart from the big tourist centres.
The five-star (DTV) holiday house built in June 2013 provides a fabulous holiday home. The house offers a lovely retreat for your time out from everyday life and invites you to relax in any season. The house is thatched, typical of Rügen, is integrated into the landscape and has been decorated with great attention to detail, attaching importance to residential comfort and cosiness.
The antiallergenic and family-friendly house with a vintage-style interior provides 106m² of living space on a site of 664m². It has three bedrooms with six beds, providing plenty of space for families or couples holidaying together. Two bathrooms ensure that there are no queues in the morning. The ground floor has a cosy living and dining room with a comfy sofa, a fireplace stove with armchairs, a big flatscreen TV and a dining table with a bench and chairs for up to six people. The separate, fully-equipped country kitchen provides everything you need for cooking, as well as another cosy little seating area for two people. The three bedrooms are furnished with two double beds (160 x 200cm) and two single beds (80 x 200cm), which can also be joined together, along with a safe, a TV and full-length mirror. All the bedrooms have ample storage space for your clothing. The ground-floor bathroom has a sauna, shower, washbasin and WC, while the upstairs bathroom is fitted with a bath, shower, washbasin and WC. The house has tiled floors, under-floor heating, and fly screens in the windows in the bedrooms and bathrooms.
The apartment provides wireless Internet access, bed linen, towels, tea towels, a washing machine and dryer, a rotary dryer and clothes horse, an iron and ironing board, a vacuum cleaner, dishwasher, microwave, egg boiler, blender, toaster, coffee machine, espresso maker with espresso cups, a hairdryer, two mirrors, a safe, a flatscreen TV with an integrated DVD player in each bedroom, a large flatscreen TV, a BluRay player, a stereo system with a CD player and Bluetooth function in the living room, board games, literature, two bicycles etc.
For children, there are a crawling mat, a rocking horse, safe plugs, a step in the bathroom, a baby bath, a travel bed, a highchair, a stair gate, children’s crockery and cutlery, a sandpit, a toy box and a blender. The terrace has comfortable garden furniture and two sun loungers, as well as a stone oven grill and a big parasol. The terrace provides plenty of space for relaxing in peace and quiet, while children have fun on the generous lawn or play in the sandpit. Next to the house there is an on-site car port with a lockable shed for storing bicycles or sports equipment. There are three parking spaces on site. The terrace around the house enjoys sunshine all day long. Pets are only on request. The house is non-smoking. You are welcomed on arrival by our contact person, who will be happy to assist with any queries. Every season has its charm on this island. In May and June the giant rapeseed fields are in full blossom. From July to September the water temperatures in the bodden or the sea are pleasant. The early or late season are ideal for guests who prefer an active holiday and would like to spend their time cycling, surfing or kiting. September to November and the spring are a great experience for bird watchers, with the migration of cranes and geese – thousands of birds gather to rest on the surrounding meadows, on their journey north. Then there are the winter months for nature lovers, when you can stroll through snowy forests all alone, or along the beaches, and then spend the evening in the sauna or in front of the fireplace stove. This holiday house offers a perfect location for a range of leisure activities: swimming within walking distance, boat hire, kiting, fishing, cycling, hiking, riding, skating, a surf school, two farms that one can visit etc. Within walking distance you can find a grocery shop for fresh rolls, bicycle hire, a fish restaurant and a café. The next largest town of Gingst, about 6km away, has further shopping facilities, a pharmacy, a general medical and dentist practice, cafés, restaurants and a bakery.
