Our farm is situated on the south side of the Bürgenstock at 920 metres, with panoramic views of the Rigi, Pilatus (steepest cogwheel railway in the world, in summer), Brisen, Stanserhorn, Titlis massif and many other mountains; of Lake Lucerne and the valley. Various hiking trails, viewpoints. Excursion possibilities: Lake Lucerne, rocky path with lift on the Bürgenstock to the Hammetschwand (summer), Bürgenstock railway to Kehrsiten to the lake, many mountain railways and small cableways, Glasi Hergiswil, Lucerne Museum of Transport, various museums in the city of Lucerne 15 km, Engelberg 30 km, Klewenalp 15 km, swimming in the lake in Stansstad 6 km and Buochs 12 km. Our farm: Dairy farming and calf fattening, shared farm with the neighbour. Attic flat: double room, twin room, WC/shower, living room with sofa bed for two and dining area, kitchen. Living room also serves as sleeping accommodation for more than 4 people. Attic as storage room. In winter please bring your car with winter equipment! The road may be covered with snow. In case of over-occupancy per person and day CHF 10. For children we offer the following: Toys; baby cot small included; children's tractor; swings On our farm we have dairy cows, cattle, calves, cats, chickens and bees. The cattle and young stock are on the alp in summer. Pick-up and drop-off service: We offer pick-up and drop-off services from Stansstad railway station (6 km) or from the Obbürgen bus stop (2 km) (included). Our farm is situated 2 km above Obbürgen on the mountain. We warmly welcome our holiday guests from near and far to Etschenried!

We loved everything about our stay! The apartment was very neat and clean. Nothing missing, plenty of room for our belongings. Only necessary items around. The hostess is so easy and helpful, nothing was a problem. 40 minute drive to ski beautiful location. Would definitely return.

We cannot say enough good about this place. Our one regret is that we did not stay longer. The location is peaceful, beautiful, and exactly what we had imagined a stay in the mountains in Switzerland would be like. The apartment itself was impeccably clean; we didn't find a speck of dust. The apartment is spacious as well. Two bedrooms, a dining room, kitchen and living room... Plenty of space to spread out. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare simple meals. We had plenty of clean bath and kitchen towels. Vrenny, our host, was welcoming and warm despite our language barrier. One thing to be aware of is that it's an 11 minute drive up the mountain from Stansstad. The last half of the drive is on a one lane, two direction road that is sometimes blocked by cows. Part of the charm for sure. We loved our stay and have been thinking about it since we left. We should have stayed longer. And if we decide to travel back to Switzerland any time soon we will definitely include this farmhouse in our itinerary.

Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub auf dem Bauernhof in top Lage. Die Ferienwohnung ist einfach aber sehr gut ausgestattet und gut gepflegt. Super Ausflugsziele in der Nähe.
Traumhafte Lage mit wunderschönem Blick auf den See. Bestens ausgestattet (allerdings kein Fernseher), was für uns als Familie jedoch eine sehr schöne Erfahrung war. Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Vermieter. Unbeschreiblich schöne Natur rund um den See!

Sehr saubere Wohnung in wunderschöner Lage. Das einzige was wir etwas blöd fanden war, dass Check in erst um 18 Uhr möglich war und Check out um 10 Uhr erfolgen musste. Ansonsten super :)
Très bien accueilli par la propriétaire même si nous ne parlons pas l'Allemand.
Quelques mots en Anglais et des gestes nous ont suffit.
A notre arrivée, des Œufs de la ferme et quelques chocolats nous attendaient.
L'appartement dans le charmant chalet est spacieux, calme, bien équipé et propre.
Une bonne adresse à retenir pour la visite de la région.
GPS indispensable pour arriver au chalet, les deux derniers kilomètres sont sur un chemin étroit.
Amazing location if you want a view in Switzerland
As advertised- it’s a cabin that overlooks the Swiss alps and lake Lucerne. Very amazing view. Home is older but very clean. Would go again in a second. My two older boys loved it.

Alles sauber und gepflegt. In der Küche ist alles was nötig ist vorhanden. Fantastische Aussicht voin da oben. Hier würde ich mich mit einem guten Buch mal für 14 Tage einschneien lassen... :-)
Eine schöne FeWo, mitten auf der Alm, mit tollem Ausblick auf den Vierwaldstätter See und den Titlis. Einfach eingerichtet, aber die Küche ist vollständig ausgestattet, sogar mit Raclette-Gerät. Bis nach Luzern Stadt fährt man ca. 20 Minuten.
This is an amazing rural location. The view from this location was out of this world. The place was absolutely spotless, with lots of thoughtful touches. I would recommend staying here on this farm
Top floor apartment in owners chalet in rural location with stunning views of lake .Very clean and well equipped, the decor could be updated but has everything you need and comfortable .
Can go hiking straight out the door ,definitely need a car to get there
Alles hat gestimmt: Die Unterkunft, die herzlichen Vermieter, das phantastische Wetter. Wir genossen es, Frühstück und Abendessen im Freien einzunehmen, die Vermieter waren bereit, uns Frühstücl zu richten, das sehr lecker war. Der Ausblick in alle Himmelsrichtungen ist einfach grandios.
Prima verblijf, niets op aan te merken. Helemaal top!
De bovenste verdieping van deze woning was helemaal van ons, alles prima voor elkaar, compleet ingerichte keuken.
En een prachtig uitzicht op het dal en de besneeuwde bergtoppen in de verte. Super mooi!
