Charming flat in the heart of Taormina The flat is located in the pedestrian area, in the very centre of Taormina on Corso Umberto, exactly halfway between Porta Catania and Porta Messina. Leaving the house you can immerse yourself directly in the life of Taormina, in fact a few steps away is the famous Piazza IX Aprile (Piazza del Belvedere) the beating heart of Taormina's social life. Also nearby and along Corso Umberto are restaurants, pubs, bars, discos, shops, banks, pharmacies, travel agencies and self-service laundries. Also nearby are several tourist attractions: the Greek Theatre, where shows and concerts are performed in the summer months, Palazzo Corvaja, the Roman Odeon, Piazza del Belvedere (Piazza IX Aprile) and the splendid municipal villa. The cable car, about a 10-minute walk away, takes you to the coastal area of Taormina mare, which includes the Bay of Mazzarò, Isola Bella, the Bay of Giardini-Naxos and the Bay of Spisone. There are several public pay car parks for the car (the closest is at Porta Catania). The flat, ideal for two couples, consists of three rooms plus a hallway, one bathroom with shower and a fully equipped kitchen. It has four beds plus two additional ones. Each room is air-conditioned and furnished with fine wooden furniture. It has a flowery terrace overlooking the Corso Umberto and allows you to enjoy the view of the promenade along the Corso Umberto and in the evening to dine with the pleasant background music that characterises the area. Access to the house is via a characteristic staircase, immortalised by many tourists for its uniqueness, and has a large entrance terrace.
