Only two blocks to private Hawk's Nest Beach. Central A/C included. Perfect for couples and families who are looking for a more relaxing getaway, and yet still less than a mile from Sound View Beach for those looking for a little more action. The location also makes it easy to get to nearby attractions.

This home is also available as an academic rental. A lease period of September to June is required.

Great getaway!

I am honestly jealous of this house; very nice, super close to the beach, just perfect for our family and our weeks' getaway. Will definitely consider another visit and stay here hopefully next year.

Great stay at Hawks Nest Beach

We enjoyed our stay at Hawks Nest. Larry was a great host and the house was sparkling clean when we arrived. We were pleasantly surprised that the kitchen had been remodeled and had everything we needed. Back patio with extra long table and umbrella was great- we are all our dinners outside. Beds were comfortable and rooms were decent sized. Air conditioning was wonderful on one of the hottest weeks Communication w Larry was quick and easy. Walk to beach entrance was about 2 blocks but we rode bikes and there is a bike rack at one entrance. There is a shed that had beach chairs etc which was nice (and our neurotic city kids insisted on locking up their bikes in it) Overall an excellent stay on the Connecticut shore.
