A cosy upholstered suite invites you to spend relaxing evenings, and a dining table alcove provides a cosy place to get together. The flat also has a small double room with two single beds, a larger double room and a bathroom with shower/WC. Bed linen, kitchen towels, bath towels, towels, a hairdryer and a kitchen with dishwasher, oven and Nespresso coffee machine are provided for maximum comfort. The underfloor heating also ensures a warm and inviting atmosphere.
The outdoor area of the holiday flat is perfect for families: There is a lovely playground just a few metres from the house and a children's ski lift right outside the door. In summer, a small swimming pool with a restaurant nearby invites you to relax while enjoying the fantastic view of the mountains.

Take advantage of the outdoor pool in Wengen in summer, visit the golf course in Interlaken or explore the horse riding opportunities in the surrounding area. There is a large car park for your vehicle at the entrance to Lauterbrunnen. From there you can reach our oasis in just 11 minutes by train.

Hans and Kathrina were wonderful hosts. They were so kind picking us up from the train station the day we arrived. We loved our stay in Wengen. The apartment was perfect and in a great location. We stayed 6 nights and used Wengen as our home base to visit the Bernese Oberland. The apartment was well equipped with everything you need. The beds were very comfortable and the shower was super. We would definitely stay here again someday when we return!!!
The property is new and clean. Though the hosts do not speak fluent English, we can communicate. They are very friendly and thoughtful. They picked us up at the train station so we don't have to lug our luggages uphill. We had a great time there.
This place is fantastic. Very clean and modern with everything you need. Two good sized bedrooms, one with a king and one with two single beds. Great location close to the centre of Wengen, close to the train station and close to the playground. The owners were so easy to communicate with and very kind. They brought us umbrellas when it rained. I would definitely stay here again!
The place was very clean , organized and well equipped with what we need. Location is close to the train station, grocery, restaurants and shops. The Wengen-Mannlichen Gondola is just beside the Chalet, unfortunately it was close for the season. The host, Katharina and Hans are friendly and warm, they took good care of us. Hans picked us up on arrival from the train station and drove us to the station on our departure day. Wengen scenery is breath taking, we made the best decision to make it as our base traveling the Jungfrau region. Close to Lauterbraunen, Grindelwald and Interlaken. We will visit again and would love to stay at Chas-Gruebi apartment again. Thank you Hans and Katharina.
AMAZING!!!! We had a truly perfect stay in Wengen thanks to the wonderful hospitality of our hosts, Hans and Katharina. From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless—they even picked us up at the Wengen train station early and kindly helped with all of our luggage!The apartment itself was spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully designed. Both bedrooms had large closets, and there was plenty of comfortable seating throughout the living and dining areas. Even during the warm summer days, the apartment stayed pleasantly cool. The kitchen was fully equipped with modern appliances including a fridge and freezer, oven, dishwasher, toaster, etc—everything we needed for a comfortable. They really thought of everything like spices, lots of towels, umbrellas, and all cooking utensils. The location was ideal—on Wengen’s Main Street and with easy access to the train and cable cars that take you across the entire Jungfrau region. Whether we were hiking, sightseeing, or just relaxing in town, this apartment was the perfect home base. Wengen is quiet enough to get away from major tourist areas while still offering lots to do, eat, and have a modern stay at this booking. We can't recommend this place enough and would absolutely stay here again. Thank you, Hans and Katharina, for making our trip so special!
We stayed for almost a week with 4 adults. ProsIt’s not a huge apartment, but very well put together, so we didn’t feel crowded.- convenient location near shops and train station. After hiking all day, I did not feel like walking forever to another apartment further away.- beds were comfortable, and it was meticulously clean and well maintained- We cooked a lot (since it’s so incredibly expensive in Switzerland), and the kitchen was well appointed, even with a fondue and raclette set.- the landlords were lovely, picking up and dropping everyone off at the train stationCons:The apartment is on the street level with lots of vehicles going by during the day (wengen may be car free, but there are still plenty of vehicles going by), and pedestrians who can see into the apartment if the blinds are up. I didn’t love this, but honestly, the price of the apartment was so much more reasonable than everything else I was seeing in Wengen, that it was worth it.- wifi wasn’t the best…but it was easy to hotspot to our phones if need beThere are lots of other apartments with beautiful balconies and amazing views…this is not that…but they cost almost double in many cases, or are further outside of town. We were out all day hiking anyhow, so I was happy to have this convenient, well appointed, comfortable apartment for a more reasonable cost
