Cable car, skisport facilities 700 m, children's playground 400 m. Well-known lakes can easily be reached: Thunersee 13 km, Brienzersee 13 km. Please note: car-free holiday complex. Arrival via mountain railway. Additional accommodations can be booked. Arrival is only possible by train from Lauterbrunnen – 14 minutes travel time.

Spacious and bright, comfortable and tasteful furnishings: living/dining room with dining table, cable TV and DVD. 1 room with 2 beds (90 cm, length 190 cm). Open kitchen (oven, dishwasher, 4 ceramic glass hob hotplates, toaster, kettle, microwave, electric coffee machine, Capsules for coffee machine (Nespresso) extra, fondue Set (cheese)). Bath/WC. Upper floor: open gallery with 3 beds (90 cm, length 190 cm). Balcony. Marvellous view of the mountains and the valley. Facilities: washing machine, dryer, hair dryer. Internet (WiFi, free). Please note: non-smokers only. Instead of an enclosed bedroom, some sleeping areas are located in an open-plan area (gallery, alcove, etc.).

Light and airy with breathtaking views!!

This place was so peaceful and amazing! Easy check in at the train station when you arrive, and about a 10 min walk mostly downhill (so uphill on the way back). The most beautiful views of Lauterbrunnen valley. Lovely porch to sit out on, comfy couches, stocked kitchen, washer dryer in unit. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

Great Views

We loved our stay in the apartment. The balcony with the views of the mountains was our favourite location. The boys loved the skylights in their loft for viewing the stars at night. The apartment was clean and had all the amenities we needed to feel at home. The check in process was very convenient and they were accommodating when we thought we would arrive late. We would definitely stay again.

Great spot with an amazing view. It is a fairly long walk from the train station especially with luggage or littles. We thought the place lacked some basic amenities we typically see (e.g. there was a washer but no detergent. Some napkins, etc.). The space is lofted and the loft becomes very hot (32) even when it is not hot outside (22). There was a small fan tower that was not very effective at cooling it off and there was a window we couldn't open due to a large bee nest right outside. This made sleeping upstairs difficult due to heat. Last, the stairs are quite unsafe. They are very short (2/3 length of my feet) and steep and the bottom 6 stairs have no wall or rail. Overall it was a good place for the price but not ideal for small children.

Die Wohnung ist gut gestaltet. Ein Sofa ist sogar für einen Erwachsenen lang genug. Ein Schlafbereich mit drei Betten befindet sich in der Galerie oben und ist zum Himmel mit Fenstern versehen. Der zweite Schlafbreich ist (aus den Bildern nicht ersichtlich) ein separates Zimmer. Die Ausstattung fällt komplett aus; eine Küchenbürste wurde nach Nachfrage umgehend bereitgestellt. Etwas negativ fallen leichte Abnutzungen an Wand und Defekte wie ein Dachfenster auf. Für mich stimmt aber der Preis.

Auch dieses Jahr hat uns die heimelige Atmosphäre in dieser modernen Wohnung (Glasdach im 2. Stockwerk) viele gemütliche Abende beschert. Die Ruhe und das Panorama von der Terrasse sind unvergesslich. Nächstes Jahr gerne wieder, vielleicht dann in echt winterlicher Landschaft.

The chalet is far by like 10 min walk from the train station, however the view from the chalet balcony is something stunning!! Its really incredible and cant be described! I will never forget the sunrise in the morning while am taking my coffee, it was one of my best moments ever!

Beautiful place to stay in Wengen

Apartment Schweizerheim was a wonderful place to stay. The view from the balcony was breathtaking and the apartment itself was cozy and clean, with everything we needed. The walk to the apartment was very enjoyable and all downhill, but if you are out of shape I would suggest hiring someone to drive you back up the hill to the train station. I would definitely stay there again!
