Apartment block "Silberhorn", built in 2002. 350 m from the centre of Wengen, on a slope, excellent location: right in the centre but still quiet. In the house: central heating system. Pre-arrival grocery service. Shop, supermarket 350 m, restaurant 200 m, bar, bakery 350 m, 5 minute walk to the centre, bus stop "Lauterbrunnen (by train)" 3.4 km, railway station "Wengen" 350 m, outdoor swimming pool 500 m. Cable car, skisport facilities 400 m, children's playground 200 m. Well-known lakes can easily be reached: Thunersee 13 km, Brienzersee 13 km. Please note: car-free holiday complex. Arrival via mountain railway. Additional accommodations can be booked. Arrival is only possible by train from Lauterbrunnen – 14 minutes driving time.

Bright, modern and tasteful furnishings: living/dining room with Scandinavian wood stove, cable TV, radio, CD-player and DVD. 1 room with 1 double bed (2 x 80 cm, length 200 cm). 1 room with 1 double bed (1 x 160 cm, length 200 cm). Open kitchen (oven, dishwasher, 4 ceramic glass hob hotplates, toaster, kettle, electric coffee machine, Capsules for coffee machine (Nespresso) extra, raclette grill, fondue Set (cheese)). Shower/WC, bath/shower/WC. Large terrace. Terrace furniture. Very beautiful panoramic view of the mountains. Facilities: hair dryer, logs (extra). Internet (WiFi, free). Please note: non-smokers only.

The apartment has a magnificent view of the valley and is an easy walk into town and to the station. The apartment is comfortable, BUT, it is crazy that there is no microwave in a vacation rental. Also, I believe there is a washing machine in the complex which is not accessible for guest use. Although these things were not listed on the facilities it would GREATLY enhance a stay here if they were included. The Interhome staff where we collected the key were not very helpful at all. They told us the ONLY access to the apartment was via two flights of stairs which is in fact totally incorrect. We had huge suitcases and fortunately had the wherewithall to find a flatter entry point.

Great apartment with fantastic views

We very much enjoyed our week staying in this apartment in Wengen. It's a relatively new building and the fitout of the apartment is quite new, very clean and tidy. We found there was all kitchen equipment and utensils we needed to self cater breakfasts and dinners for the whole week. Only comment, each room has a double bed. The description says ideal for families but it's not ideal for our group, a couple with two teenage children. Our son slept on the sofa bed which was not that comfortable.

Nice view, street light too bright

Nice view within the house to see outside panorama of the mountain. However, no briefing was given when we check in. The street light is too bright, would suggest a blackout curtain. Difficult to push the luggage up the slope if you have big luggage. Overall stay is pleasant.

Este apartamento nos ha sorprendido por lo bien que está equipado, con todo lo necesario en la cocina, y por su ubicación en un entorno de montaña maravilloso. Un sitio tranquilo y a 4 minutos del centro de wengen. La terraza que tiene el apartamento en la planta baja hace que estés todo el tiempo allí, ya sea para desayunar, comer o estar contemplando las vistas. Nosotros hemos ido 2 adultos y 2 adolescentes y nos ha encantado a los cuatro. Lo recomiendo 100%.

A very nice apartment for a week in Wengen

The apartment is very nice with a great view out over the valley towards lauterbrunnen. It’s a 5 minute walk slightly uphill from the town centre. The apartment is well appointed with everything we needed to self cater evening meals and breakfasts for the week. Our only suggestion is to have two single beds in the second bedroom rather than as it is now with a double bed in each bedroom. We have two teenage kids so one was on the sofa bed That aside we enjoyed our stay very much.

Nous avons bien apprécié (pour la 2ème fois) cet appartement bien équipé, avec magnifique vue et accès facile depuis le centre du village, proche des magasins et des départs de ski. Village, magasins et domaine skiable bien organisé pour éviter les risques "Covid". Bon enneigement mais pistes de ski pas toujours bien entretenues.

Die Wohnung ist sehr gut und ruhig gelegen, mit fantastischer Aussicht: von innen und von der grosszügigen Terrasse, die man von allen Zimmern direkt erreichen kann. Das ist ideal für Personen mit einer Gehbeinderung. Die Küche ist überdurchschnittlich gut ausgerüstet. Geschätzt haben wir auch, dass es gut platzierte Lichtquellen gibt, die einem das Lesen überall ermöglichen. Es ist spür- und sichtbar, dass die Besitzer Wengen als Ferienort mögen.
