What a Deck-view
We really enjoyed our 3-night stay. The views from the deck were amazing. Right above the crashing waves of Green Bay. Nice nautical decorations inside. Comfortable cabin type lodging.
Can't beat the view
Charming guest house right on the Green Bay side of the lake. Loved the retro vibe. If you are looking for a great sunset out on the deck, right above the lake, this is the place for you. Listening to the waves crashing on the shore at night was relaxing as well. Great spot to access the southern end of the peninsula.
Tremendous views, with an extremely comfortable setting.
Wonderful vacation with easy access to all of Door County. Property manager extremely helpful and accommodating.
Charming, fully stocked cottage with spectacular lake views. Perfect place to relax, recharge and enjoy the tranquility. Convenient to restaurants and activities if you choose to venture out. Would love to stay here again!
Wonderful beach front property
Great view from the sitting room. The deck is about as close to the waterfront as you can get and a wonderful place to just listen to the waves and relax. About Bill Koenen
We bought our Door County property many years ago. The view and perfect approach to the water sold us on the location. We've been residing at our house and renting the adjacent guest house ever since, enjoying every minute.
Bill Koenen purchased this House in 1968
Why Bill Koenen chose Sturgeon Bay
The location is ideal--on the Bay shore just 1 1/2 miles north of Little Harbor exactly halfway between Sturgeon Bay and Egg Harbor on County trunk B...also called Bay Shore Drive. Entertainment and Shopping is 3 to 8 miles away in any direction.
What makes this House unique
The Panorama guest house deck is everyone's favorite spot. The comfortable deck furniture is a great place to observe the shoreline's beautiful scenery and sunsets. The deck is built overlooking the water, so a person can have a sweeping view up and down the Bay. Look across the water to both Michigan and Wisconsin shores. The guest house is always comfortable...air conditioned for summer's hot days, centrally heated for Spring and Fall. Cards, checkers, puzzles, dominoes etc. are there for rainy days. Current novels, Andy Rash's children's books and Door County history books are on the bookshelf. Maps, tourist literature, DVD's and CD's are in the living room. There are also a few outdoor games for the spacious lawn outside.
