The holiday house Mare-Etna-Taormina, is located on the east coast of Sicily, in front of the beautiful beaches of Fondachello, a few kilometres from the volcano Etna, Taormina and Giardini Naxos, to offer you a dream holiday amidst the beauty of Sicily.

The "Antigua" Residence, ideal for families with children, is located in a strategic position to reach the slopes of the marvellous volcano Etna and the main cities/towns of eastern Sicily: Siracusa, Noto, Ragusa, Catania , Aci Trezza, Acireale (where the most beautiful Carnival in Sicily takes place in February) , Taormina, Gole del Fiume Alcantara, Messina and Giardini Naxos. The swimming pool is in operation from June to September, while for those who wish to do so during the month of August, there is entertainment within the residence, as well as a play area for children. In the vicinity you will find numerous bars and pastry shops with typical Sicilian specialities. The supermarket, restaurants, pharmacy and post office are all just a few minutes away.

From here, in all seasons, you can explore Mount Etna, the highest volcano in Europe, recently nominated by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site for its uniqueness and natural importance. If you come in summer, you will enjoy spending a day on the water-slides of Etnaland, or the trails of the Monti Rossi and Etna adventure parks. For trekking lovers, there are beautiful trails within the Etna Regional Park in all seasons. In winter, Etna is also a popular destination for skiers, at the snowy slopes of Nicolosi. The house is very close to the 'Monti Rossi', ancient volcanic cones now covered by a pine forest.
