Only a short 5 minute stroll (1 ½ blocks) to the spacious and open beach and the new Coligny Beach Park (a must-see) with beautiful hardwood boardwalk, showers, changing stations, gazebo, and geyser-style fountain.

Our two families visited Hilton Head for fall break and the accommodations were perfect. The villa has three stories so privacy wasn’t an issue. The two full baths one on each upper level was ideal and worked well with two families. The location was great, steps to bike rentals, Coligny with shops and restaurants, the beach was an easy walk or short bike ride, although we rode bikes to the Coligny public beach area which was only a couple minutes further. The villa was clean, the host was quick to respond, (we didn’t have any issues just questions), and it was well equipped for cooking, etc Absolutely perfect for a short trip, park the car and walk/ride everywhere.

We loved this place! The set up with the two different floors for the bedrooms and bathrooms was great! Things that would make this a five star listing would be: having beach chairs on property to use and more outlets or charging stations. My wife and I are originally from Kingsport, TN and Winston-Salem, NC, respectively. I attended the University of Tennessee in Knoxville while my wife attended Appalachian State University. We live in Charlotte, NC but love the beach! We bought this place in 2011 and completely remodeled and renovated it for not only our family, but for your family, to enjoy. We have made many great family memories in this cottage/villa. We have also enjoyed bringing both friends and family to Coligny Cottage. There are so many wonderful family things to do on this island and many of them are within walking distance of our front door.

Why they chose this property

When we bought this property, we did not realize at that time what a great and perfect location this is. We often come here and park our car and never get in it again until we are ready to go home.
