If the wonderful Villa Son Sans is a reflection of country life in the south of Mallorca, then even convinced city dwellers will probably not want to leave. The single-storey natural stone house is simply too beautiful: it is set on a huge plot of land, covered with palm trees towering into the blue sky, many typical Mediterranean plants and lovingly tended cacti, which can also be found around the spacious terrace, including a small roof terrace on a small tower. There are charming retreats everywhere, a pretty seating area here, a small walkway there - everything is arranged with great attention to detail, from the mosaic stones around the flower bed to the inviting hammock in the round arch. Another highlight is undoubtedly the large pool, around which comfortable sun loungers and shady parasols are arranged like a long dining table for cosy evenings in the open air.
Inside, the villa exudes an almost enchanted atmosphere. Everything is wonderfully bright and cosily furnished and also very tasteful and individual. Many windows let in plenty of light and open up fantastic views of both the garden and the property's romantic inner courtyard. The living and dining area as well as the kitchen are housed in a large, elongated open-plan room. In the living room you will find several cosy sofas and armchairs where you can either relax and watch TV or play the piano by the crackling fire. Just like the kitchen with its wide counter and extra table, the dining area also has a rustic feel: warm wood and comfortable wicker chairs invite you to sit together in a cosy atmosphere. If you can't keep your eyes open any longer, head to one of the enchanting double rooms, each of which can be accessed separately from the outside. One of them is located directly in front of the pool. Each room also has a chic en suite bathroom.

The garden and the property are simply beautiful and the surrounding countryside is perfect for long walks, hikes and bike rides. However, you should not miss out on a trip to Santanyí, just 3 kilometres away. Surrounded by almond groves and agricultural land, the small town with its pretty sandstone houses and light blue shutters is definitely worth a visit. Many small, original shops in the centre invite you to browse and on Wednesdays and Saturdays you can shop for fresh fruit, vegetables, cheese and sausage specialities as well as fashion and handicrafts. The beach of Cala Santanyí, which has a good infrastructure, is 8 kilometres away, as are the equally beautiful beaches of Cala Mondragó and Cala Llombards. Here you can enjoy absolute privacy in the midst of a dreamlike Mediterranean landscape: the chic Villa Son Sans with its large pool was built on a huge plot in a secluded location.
