We were very happy with our stay at Villa Sossego. We were met by Jens who gave us a tour of the property. Thank you for the wine Jens! Everything we needed was there, although it took me a while to find the saucepan lids! The atmosphere was so welcoming and relaxing we felt at home straight away. The lovely spaces outside to sit meant you could always find a shady spot when things got too hot and it was so peaceful just to sit back, looking at the views and listening to the sounds of the birds (donkey & cockerels)! I would have given 5 stars but for two little niggles: (1) the fan in the lounge would not keep it cool enough later in the year. It did reach 28 degrees and it just about coped with that (2) the floors in the bathrooms didn't dry out very quickly and water gathered in puddles that took a long time to dry. That being said, we have already booked for next year and are looking forward to going back. Many thanks for a lovely stay.

Thank you very much for your honest feedback. We’re delighted that you enjoyed your stay and felt at home at Villa Sossego. We appreciate your comments regarding the living room temperature — we are already planning to install an air-conditioning unit there to ensure even more comfort in the warmer months (and also for heating in the colder month). The house has a rustic style, which creates its special atmosphere. The bathroom tiles do take a little longer to dry, and this is a characteristic of the traditional materials we chose. We’re very happy that you have already booked again for next year and look forward to welcoming you back.
