This premium home has everything you need in a vacation property. Designed for family fun this 4200 square foot home can handle one large family or a combination of smaller ones. There are 5 bedrooms, with one being a huge bunk room, and 4 bathrooms. Depending on the season you are only a few minutes drive from either fantastic skiing or two highly rated golf courses. The main-floor master bedroom has a king sized bed, two sink vanity, large walk in shower and soaking tub. The top floor includes a full bathroom, a bedroom and the bunk room. A queen sized bed and twin day bed await you in the bedroom, while custom built twin beds await you in the bunk room. Perfect for kids and grown ups alike. The downstairs has 2 bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with a double bed. You will also find the game room and theater room downstairs.

Enjoy the fully-equipped kitchen with beautiful granite counter tops. Lots of cupboard space with plenty of dishes and utensils to feed your hungry crew. Relax in the great room highlighted by a stone fireplace with huge windows facing the lake. The views from the deck are spectacular. This is a perfect place to unwind with a cup of coffee and let nature calm your soul. A gas grill on the deck makes grilling easy.

This beautiful home is situated in an amazing development. All the properties are built under strict architectural guidelines complementing the natural surroundings. The entire development is beautifully landscaped with dramatic lighting, hiking trails, swimming beaches and picnic areas. All roads in the development are paved. Our home sits on a beautiful 2 acre lot. Walking down to the large sandy beach you will encounter white pine, birch and maple trees. A fire pit located near the house gives you a nice view of the lake.

The laundry room and half bathroom round out the rest of the main floor.

Everyone will love the Home Theater room with stadium seating .

Enjoy the10 foot shuffleboard game, and the arcade games. The entry way cabinets are full of puzzles and games for the entire family.

Check-in was easy. Great communication with Dan before our family trip. The space was big enough for our family of 13. Bunk room was a favorite and there were plenty of dishes and silverware in the kitchen. Appreciated the supply of soap and access to washer and dryer. Comments from some of our crew about the mattresses being uncomfortable. Food was frozen in the fridge and frosty in the freezer, so it may need some attention. Loved eating on The deck and playing cards at the dining room table!

This place was absolutely amazing. Plenty of room for 9 of us and very close to town and Giants Ridge for skiing. Very clean place and the owners were very helpful and responsive.

Wonderful Northern Family Lake Vacation

Dan and Suzanne's place was amazing! I can't say enough about how much fun we had. Our adult children and their families found plenty to do inside and out. It was a tough year for mosquitoes, but that didn't stop us. Our family loved the secluded natural environment, the beautiful beach, and the amazing home with many places for groups to find time to spend together and apart. Know that Dan and Suzanne have most of what you need for supplies and appliances in the house, including an extra fridge inside the garage, and a very well stocked kitchen. On a rainy day, the Movie Room was a favorite. After staying at several lake places to find a substitute for "Great Grandma's Cabin," we think we found it and have already booked for next year. Thank you Dan and Suzanne!

Annual family cabin trip

This was our 6th year staying at this amazing home. And once again it did not disappoint. The home is beautiful. With plenty of room for our large family. The lake is wonderful with a nice sandy. Each for the kids to play on. We have already booked again for next year. Highly recommend!

Perfect for a group getaway

We were 7 couples who thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. All were comfortable and the home has everything needed to accommodate a group. The location is perfect for enjoying the activities at Giant's Ridge, also. I highly recommend it!

Wonderful Girls Weekend Getaway

This was the perfect place for our girl's weekend. Plenty of space and beautiful accommodations. I felt right at home. The kitchen had all the supplies we needed and the outdoor space was great. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and I hope to be back soon!

Awesome Place!!

We had 12 guys in for a golf weekend. The property was beautiful and had all the amenities. Easy check in and great communication during the entire process. Close to both golf courses and ski hill. Would HIGHLY recommend this property.

Perfect for a family vacation!

Beautiful private location surrounded by pine trees with large deck for eating and enjoying the sunsets. The home was clean with plenty of space to soread out. The theater room & bunk room are suoer cool! Great sand beach for the kids. Tons to do on the lake with kayaks, paddle boards and canoe plus the area has a lot to offer. Would love to stay again and highly recommend it!

Winter weekend with extended family

This was the perfect spot for a three generation family gathering. The grandkids loved the bunk room!! And the movie room, and the indoor shuffle board! We had fun at Giant's Ridge and great together time at the cabin. Dan was very responsive and we are ready to rebook for next winter!!!

Great Home!

Three families stayed here in March for an extended weekend. It was very convenient being so close to Giants Ridge. Folks xc skied and ice-fished on the lake. The kids enjoyed the theatre. Communication with the owner was very easy. Will definitely say here again.

One of the best

Great Family Vacation

Can’t say enough about the property, had a great time. Plenty of room for our party 11. Great gathering places in the house and on the property. Spent a lot of time on the large deck with comfortable chairs and tables. Used the Grill frequently. Enjoyed the fire pit area, and wood supplied. The highlight, especially for the kids, was the large sandy beach with paddle boards, kayaks and beach toys. Those who brought bikes raved about the local biking options. Great hiking paths as well.

Everything we wanted

This property was great! The house was beautiful, well maintained, and very clean. The bunk room made a perfect place for the kids to sleep and the theater room provided entertainment when it rained. Though the lake depth drops off very quickly from the shoreline, a life jacket on the young one's worked just fine. And the sandy beach was the icing on the cake. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware and utensils, which was very much appreciated. And the communication and service I received from the property manager was excellent. Really enjoyed the entire weekend.

Peace at the Lake

Well, at least if you're an all-adult group -- I wouldn't expect much peace with a houseful of kids, but this is perfect for any and all! We were 8 adults who enjoyed the fully-equipped kitchen for almost all our meals, inside and on the huge deck, grilling on a couple of occasions; we swam, sunned, kayaked, canoed, used the inflatables; we hiked the huge system of trails in the area, which offer a range of lengths and challenges; we listened to music in the living room while reading and hanging around; we watched movies and Ted Lasso in the movie room; relaxed around the fire pit. We took a day trip to Grand Marais (about 5 hours RT) and Duluth (2 hrs RT). Plenty of room to get away by yourself if needed. We had a dishwasher issue that Yvette responded to immediately (plus -- important! -- I had foolishly relied on being able to access the email with entry code on my phone when we got to the house, but there is very weak cell signal in the area, and I was able to get a message to her, and she responded right away -- you DON'T want to be tired from a day of traveling, have a carful of groceries and be stranded on the porch, so PRINT THEM OUT or screenshot what you need). The house is absolutely gorgeous, quiet, and beautifully appointed. It would also be terrific for kids -- plenty of unbreakable dishware, beach toys, other toys and play areas and of course the bunk room with its own TV. We chose end of summer to avoid bugs and heat, but I would love to have a winter getaway here as well -- so many opportunities for skiing and snowshoeing. Well-stocked grocery store 10 minutes away, as well as great pizza at Vi's. Easy to deal with trash at the dumpster and recycling can be brought to a center 15 minutes away. We loved our time there!
