L’Echappée en Chartreuse – Peaceful Home with Mountain Views

Peaceful, bright, and colorful house with majestic views of the Vercors and Chartreuse mountains. Perfect for families and friends seeking a nature escape, with quick access from Grenoble.



This century-old house, nestled in the hamlet of Mont Quaix, is full of history. Originally two separate homes, it later became a local gathering spot for neighbors after work. Today, it’s filled with memories, and we hope you enjoy a wonderful stay here.



Adventure awaits: hiking trails, a climbing site, and a waterfall are all within walking distance. In just fifteen minutes by car, you can reach Col de Porte for skiing.



After a day in the mountains, relax in comfortable, functional interiors—a true haven of peace!



The house is spread over two levels. On the ground floor, an open living area with kitchen, lounge, dining space, and a restroom offers stunning views of Le Néron. Upstairs, there are three bedrooms and an extra office.



Traveling with little ones? Two baby beds are available.



Eco-friendly heating is provided by a heat pump. You’ll have access to the entire house, garden, and cellar for storage. Enjoy the terrace and garden—please care for the young trees, which will one day become a forest garden.
