LOS OCARROS BIOPARQUE:This beautiful park opened its doors to the public in 2003, it is located only three kilometres from the city, along the Piedemonte Llanero route, there visitors will have direct contact with the fauna and flora of the Colombian Orinoquia. It has been built around the lake formed by the dam of the Aguas Claras stream that originates in the Vanguardia reserve. It has an extension of 5.7 hectares. Its name is a tribute to the Ocarro or giant armadillo which is on the verge of extinction. It is the only centre specialised in the conservation of endangered animal species in the Orinoquia. It also has the second largest freshwater aquarium in Colombia. Its modern constructions are in accordance with the needs of each of the species that inhabit it. El Redento Cristo Rey HillEl Redentor Hill is located at cra 33 B # 40, but to reach this emblematic place you can use two points of reference in the city; through the downtown area, passing 41st Street, where the building of the Mayor of Villavicencio is located, continue the road until you reach the car park Los Espejos on the same street and there you must take the paved detour uphill. WATERFALLS FINCA EL PORVENIR (ACACIAS)This spectacular enclosure of fauna and flora, located in the agro tourist farm El Porvenir, located 7.9 km from the main park in the village of Alto Acaciitas you can find natural wells, camping area, ecological trails, bird watching and local cuisine.
EL SAGU (ACACIAS)In the Sagu Canyon you can do different extreme activities such as hiking, canyoning, rappel, among others. It is located between the villages of San Pablo and El Pañuelo, 6km from the town centre, which in time is equivalent to 30 minutes from the centre of Acacias.
