A long time ago, we acquired a forest in the heart of the Cevennes mountains, where the ruins of a 17th century sheepfold lay buried in the vegetation. We renovated it using the noble materials of the time.
It took 30 years of hard work and dedication.
Mas de la Rode is located 2 km above SAUMANE.
Our river, the Gardon, with its natural swimming pool and landscaped beach, lies just below the village square.
The Gardon offers many gours and beaches accessible over a 20 km stretch, and is a favourite with trout fishermen.
