Historic wine farmhouse in Main/Wine Franconia at the foot of the Spessart
Built around 1690 and “completely renovated,” this half-timbered house in the historic district of Lengfurt has a very special charm. Materials such as clay and wood, along with plank floors and oak parquet, ensure a healthy indoor climate, while modern fixtures in the bathrooms and kitchen provide comfort. Every detail has been lovingly restored with respect for its history, thus preserving it for future generations.
With approximately 160 square metres of living space, the house offers plenty of room for six people, featuring three bedrooms, two bathrooms, two living rooms, and a spacious kitchen, dining, and living area (with a pull-out sofa) on the ground floor. The modern kitchen (induction stove) with tile flooring from the 1920s, the dining room, and the living room with new oak parquet flooring are ideal for cooking, baking, and dining together, for game nights, or for relaxing while listening to music (a high chair is available). You can retreat, read, or watch TV (DVD collection) in the separate living room on the ground floor.
The entire living area, including the terrace, is available for your exclusive use. The small, romantic courtyard with patio furniture is perfect for dining, playing, or relaxing. The courtyard is lockable with a gate and offers space for storing bicycles, for example. Guests with small children appreciate the safe courtyard.
In the fully equipped kitchen (80 cm induction cooktop, oven, microwave), you’ll find coffee, tea, coffee filters, some spices, table and kitchen linens, napkins, a coffee maker, a kettle, baking and cooking utensils, and much more. I’m happy to answer any questions you may have.
Your holiday home is located in the old town, so it’s very secluded and there’s very little traffic in the narrow streets. To ensure a good night’s sleep, please avoid making too much noise outside in the courtyard after 10 p.m.
