The Oberstaader 1 vacation home is located on the edge of the Lake Constance Nature Reserve. The lake is just an 8-minute walk away.

This impressive 500-year-old house has been luxuriously renovated and furnished.
From the outside, it has retained its unique character and has once again become a gem. Inside, new, comfortable rooms have been created that invite you to relax and unwind.

“Oberstaader 1” features an idyllically landscaped garden with large terraces and a sunbathing lawn. The outdoor shower (hot + cold) will cool you off after a long bike ride or a strenuous hike—and, of course, after sunbathing in the beautiful garden. An electric grill invites you to enjoy a cozy get-together with family or friends after a successful day of vacation. Steaks, hamburgers, or vegetable skewers are sure to turn out perfectly.

The large house features 3 apartments that can be rented individually but are connected in such a way that the entire house can also be rented. In that case, it offers space for up to 16 people.

The house “Oberstaader 1” is located just two kilometers from the Swiss border (Stein am Rhein). This makes it easy to visit Switzerland, explore the beautiful town of Stein am Rhein, or continue on to Schaffhausen to see the famous Rhine Falls, for example.

There is also a boat landing in the village itself. Boats depart from here on beautiful trips to Mainau and, of course, to Switzerland across the river.


Your GALERIE KLEIN vacation apartment at “Oberstaader 1” features approximately 166 square meters of space, 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom with a sauna, and 1 bar with a lounge, offering a variety of indoor and outdoor amenities for up to 4 guests. The south-facing garden, complete with an outdoor shower, patio furniture, a grill, and natural landscaping, invites you to relax.

On cooler days, enjoy the sauna. The cozy TV corner invites you to linger.
The kitchen is equipped with professional appliances (filter coffee maker, Nespresso machine, Gaggenau, Miele). If you’re traveling as a family or larger group, you can, for example, hire a private chef or cook together as a large group.
There are a total of 3 free parking spaces and a stable Wi-Fi connection available.

The house is located on the HÖRI, the vacation peninsula on Lake Constance.

The Höri offers impressively beautiful landscapes, flora, and fauna. It features large forested areas and designated hiking trails with breathtaking views of the lake, as well as designated bike paths.

There are several boat docks along the entire Höri peninsula, inviting you to take beautiful boat trips. There are themed boat tours, as well as the option to simply cruise from one place to another on the lake.

The “Oberstaader 1” house is located in Öhningen, which also features a beach resort with a sandy beach and dining options.

As in all towns on the Höri, you’ll find select restaurants and charming spots for lovely summer strolls, and of course, there’s plenty of shopping to enjoy.
