Loved staying at the Nest while in Decorah for a workshop at Vesterheim. I stayed 6 nights and it was the perfect location and a beautiful cozy space. I was able to cook most of my meals in the lovely kitchen and La Rana is right around the corner for when I was too tired to make myself dinner. I look forward to staying again!

Cute space, great location. Photos were outdated (loft has been removed and bunk beds are now there instead). Stairs and bathroom had a cigarette smoke smell like neighbors smoke or used to smoke inside.

Loved this beautiful Nest!!! Absolutely great location, accommodations and amenities. Hope to return. Guests need to be aware of ability needed for stairs leading to Unit and that beds include a great master kin-sized bed and 2 bunk beds. Easily accommodates 4.

Had some issues with door lock and no blind/curtain on bedroom exterior door sunlight came through from alley. Very close and convenient to downtown and were able to park vehicle and walk to places. It did smell “Smokey” and we came to realize was coming from place across the hall and coming in place. We really weren’t in place except at night/morning hour.

I really enjoyed staying here. The location was downtown, so walking distance to shops and restaurants. The living room/kitchen area was big and open. We liked the windowsill reading nook. The whole place had a unique and cool vibe. Definitely want to stay again.

The place was clean, well decorated and the kitchen was nicely stocked with dishes and cookware. Beds were comfortable. Easy to find, nice location with quick access to downtown. My only complaint is the place smelled horribly of cigarettes. There was several glade plug ins, I guess to mask the smell, but it was still very strong. Even our clothing after leaving smelled. I didn't notice mention of it in other the reviews, so maybe it is something new, but either way was really disappointing for such a nice space.

Wonderful Getaway

My wife and I had great three nights here. We fished, hiked, biked, binge watched, ate, and drank craft brews based from this nice apartment. We would definitely stay here again!
