Achterhain is located on the edge of a forest in Ückeritz on Usedom, 600 metres from the Baltic Sea. The coast is steep, rugged, and windy. The tranquil Achterwasser, which opens up behind the meadows, lies within sight—calm, shallow, and with a completely different character than the sea. The forest begins right in front of the house. Pines, beeches, and oaks. Light, silence. You can walk for hours without coming across a road. Nearby: Bansin, Zinnowitz, and Heringsdorf. Perfect for breakfast, dinner, or a short outing.
