About this property

Cozy 1-room apartment with terrace in historic thatched cottage

On the outskirts of the idyllic village of Markerup lies the sprawling grounds of the former farm. A narrow oak-lined avenue leads to the farmyard, where birch trees and ancient beech trees line the green garden, which features a fire pit, a riding arena, and a small stable.

The guest room, with its own entrance and terrace, is located in the center of the thatched-roof house Koppelkiek. In the spacious room with historic terrazzo flooring, guests will find a cozy double bed (160x200 cm), a fully equipped kitchenette, and a dining table. From here, you can step out onto the terrace overlooking the large garden. The small bathroom, featuring a shower, toilet, and sink, is located in the entryway. A game room with foosball, a ping-pong table, a dartboard, and much more is available for shared use.

This apartment is perfect for short getaways, visits with friends, or guests with lots of plans for day trips. The vacation home next door can accommodate up to 6 people. If you’re interested in renting both units, we’d be happy to offer a discount.
