About this property
Renovated Log Cabin on Acreage, Sleeps up to 4
Winterchill Farm is a family owned and operated equestrian facility in Port Townsend, Washington. We have renovated one of the hand milled log homes on the property and are offering it as a guest house for those who enjoy peaceful settings, modern amenities, expansive views, wildlife, and more.
The Wolves' Den has all the fine amenities that you could want while traveling with your family or on a peaceful getaway: 1,000 square foot open floor plan, modern full kitchen with stainless steel appliances, dining table, two spacious sun porches, cozy wood stove, on demand propane heating, comfortable sitting areas with expansive views, two day-beds in living area, separate bedroom with queen Saatva mattress, bathroom with skylight shower, TV and WiFi. Check out our video.
Our farm is located about three miles from Port Townsend. Port Townsend is only one of three Victorian Seaports on the National Register of Historic Places.
Port Townsend is the outdoor enthusiasts’ dream! With a never-ending supply of activities.... hiking, kayaking, fishing, whale watching excursions, sailing, skate park, wonderful walking beaches at Fort Worden, galleries and an easy drive to Olympic National Park. Hurricane Ridge is about two hours away.
Port Townsend is also home to many wonderful restaurants, pubs, galleries and shops located in the historic waterfront downtown. There is even a massage school in town!
There are many different festivals: the Wooden Boat Festival, Jazz festival, Fiddle Tunes, Blues Festival and Kayak Symposium to name a few. Centrum (center for the arts) workshops are held at Fort Worden throughout the year. There's also a woodworking school at the Fort.
We welcome children at no additional fee. Extra adults (after two) are each $20/night. For an additional fee of $20 per night, we will happily accommodate small/medium dogs (sorry, no large dogs). When you inquire about your stay, please ask about your dog and be sure to add the dog fee. Note, there is one free-roaming dog on the property.
Our team, Susie (who manages the cabin), Josh and Keely, long-time residents of Port Townsend, are available anytime, providing assistance with the Wolves' Den or your dinning and entertainment suggestions.
NOTE: We will accommodate maximum stays of 14 nights during high season. June 1 - September 15. Minimum stays during this time is 3 days.
