Here you can enjoy a laid-back stay in a stylish loft setting—a luxurious holiday atmosphere with plenty of cosiness. Whether you’re reading a book on the sunny south-facing terrace, relaxing in a beach chair, or unwinding in your own sauna—this former workshop will treat you to wonderfully restful and magical moments!

High-quality, healthy-living materials such as natural leather and real wood create an absolute feel-good atmosphere at Haus KarlsRUHE. Light-filled rooms, thoughtfully designed lighting, comfortable seating indoors and out, cosy bedding, a fully equipped kitchen, as well as a sauna and wood-burning stove make your holiday home the perfect place to unwind.

On the holiday home’s private wooden deck—complete with a beach chair—where you can catch the morning and evening sun, enjoy your first cup of coffee or relax as the day draws to a close. The gathering spot in front of the Inselloft is perfect for good conversations, and in the garden or on the sunny, wind- and privacy-protected south-facing terrace, you can sit with a book and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the courtyard—simply wonderful! You’ll finally have time on holiday to enjoy a shared breakfast at the large oak table in the workshop kitchen.

After sunset by the sea or on a rainy day, treat yourself to a visit to your private sauna, complete with a changing room and seating area in the garden shed. Or relax with a film night at home: Genuine leather upholstered furniture and comfortable beds, as well as smart TVs in both bedrooms and the kitchen-dining area, offer the utmost comfort. An all-in-one hi-fi audio system with radio and Bluetooth, a gas fireplace, and underfloor heating provide that extra touch of cosiness. Even in winter, because when it’s stormy and raining outside, it’s especially hyggelig inside by candlelight with a hot drink…

In the fully equipped kitchen-diner, you’ll become a gourmet chef during your holiday. With high-quality appliances such as a ceramic cooktop, large refrigerator with freezer, oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, and toaster, everything is ready to make your cooking evenings together unforgettable.

Two separate bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, invite you to sleep in and unwind. Here, you can simply sink into the pillows and enjoy the soothing tranquility of the island. The large bedroom features a double bed (200 x 200 cm; an extra bed [for children up to approx. 12 years old] or a cot can be added), while the smaller bedroom has two sliding single beds (90 x 200 cm; a cot can be added). Each room is equipped with hypoallergenic bedding.

Whether you’re browsing online, reading a book in a beach chair, or playing a board game: Free Wi-Fi and a selection of books and board games offer you the perfect choice.

For our younger guests, the family-friendly “Inselloft Holiday Apartment” provides a high chair and a cot.

General Information: The loft measures 67 m² plus a sauna and a large outdoor area and is suitable for four adults + one child (up to approx. 12 years old) + a baby in a cot. A washing machine and dryer are available for a fee in the building’s basement. An iron and ironing board are available for shared use, as is a luggage rack for arrival and departure. For convenient luggage transport, 3–4 hand carts from Haus KarlsRuhe are available at the harbour. After arriving at the house, please return them to the harbour as soon as possible. This is a non-smoking property. Pets are not allowed in this accommodation.
