Lichtblick Vacation Rental

This spacious 80-square-meter holiday rental, which sleeps up to 6 people
, is located in Waren (Müritz), in the community centre of the
Evangelical Free Church congregation. The holiday rental features a cosy
living room and two bedrooms (one with bunk beds). It comfortably accommodates
six people. The apartment has two bathrooms and a well-equipped kitchen. With its terrace, garden seating area, and grill, the “Lichtblick” holiday rental offers an atmosphere where you can feel at home, relax, and enjoy restful days. Guests are almost always alone in the
house during the week, so the children can be a little louder now and then. The house is located directly on
Lake Müritz, Germany’s largest inland lake, separated from the
shore by just the width of a street. The historic old town, the large swimming pool with a
water slide, and the harbour with its many small and large boats are all
within easy walking distance. You can explore the surrounding lakes or go fishing on a passenger boat or a rented
boat. You can also explore the
National Park by bike. There are also guided tours and opportunities to
observe ospreys and cranes. In case of bad weather, we recommend
a visit to the “Müritzeum,” a museum featuring the largest freshwater aquarium
in Europe, with display tanks for native fish and many other attractions. There’s also
always something going on culturally in Waren and the surrounding area. There are interesting excursion options not just for children
—for example, to the Bärenwald in Stuer or
to the summer toboggan run and the Affenwald in Malchow.
