Beautiful location right on Lake Michigan only 12 steps down to the water. Lots of lawn for the kids to play on and a lovely beach with a little creek that our grandkids adored. Well equipped with everything we needed.
Had a wonderful stay with family while dropping our oldest off for grad school. View could not be beaten and was nice to be away from town crowds to have quiet and solitude.

Glad you enjoyed your stay! We never get tired of that amazing view!!
The townhouse and views were beautiful! Everything was perfect! We were not able to connect with wifi so that was a bit concerning but overall we couldn't have asked for more!

Glad you had a great time, but we definitely have Wi-Fi. We wish you would have informed me. Either you had the wrong code, or occasionally the router needs to be reset and could have easily remedied that.
This property is in an amazing location (short drive to Manistee). Very spacious, fantastic deck. The views were unbelievable! Owners were Super Helpful the entire time. The beach is so nice! Very peaceful, great for kids. Highly recommend!
We had a great time..the house was extremely well equipped. We have never stayed at one that had everything we needed. We had more than enough space for 5 adults and 3 kids. The view was unbeatable. The beach was awesome..many hours of entertainment.
Our time there was so relaxing. We were so close to Lake Michigan! All descriptions were accurate. We will definitely look to rent again. Thanks so much

Glad you enjoyed our little slice of heaven! Look forward to you coming back next year.
Enjoyed our stay at this breath taking location overlooking lake Michigan. Able to take long walks on the beach and enjoyed the patio sunsets. The home was charming and well stocked. The upstairs sitting area overlooking the lake offered a peaceful repite. Location was ideal to explore many beautiful areas along the western coast line. John and Brigid were a joy to work with.

Property was clean, convenient and comfortable.
We enjoyed our stay on the shore of Lake Michigan. It was great to just cross the lawn and be at the beach. The condo was great. No complaints at all. The weather was warm and cold, the lake was calm and very rough. We got a lot of beautiful photos of the calm and the huge sprays of water from the rough waves. So glad we rented here.

Thanks, so much. We are very happy that you had a great time!!
This place undersells itself. It's been newly updated and is absolutely beautiful. Right on the lake. Gorgeous sunsets. Friendly neighbors. I shouldn't even be telling anyone about it because it's that good. John and Brigid make everything easy and it has all the amenities you need to have a great time. Truly a gem on the lake.

Thanks Hank, for the kind words. We had fun doing all the remodeling and are so happy you guys loved it. It truly is a special place!
This place is truly special! The beach is incredible - sandy, private and a perfect walking beach. We had 4 kiddos at the house (4 under 4) and they loved it! The downstairs is tile so I do recommend bringing a pad for babies which worked out well. We brought some toys to keep them entertained as well. The back porch is perfect for sunsets and for keeping kids entertained along with the nice yard. The neighbors are so nice and friendly which was a nice surprise since I know some people are a little leary of renters. Norma, the manager, was so nice to work with and the owners are very friendly as well. We had a great time and cannot wait to come back!!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house is beautiful, has a great layout and the views...oh my! Neighbors were friendly and being able to walk right to the water was great! We grilled out and ate every meal on the deck and watched the sunset every night. We played games, watched movies and I even did some scrapbooking and crocheting. The house has enough areas where people can hang out, yet is open so you can still hear/talk to each other. We could be together without being on top of each other! We will definitely be back!

Marlene, we are so happy that you enjoyed your stay. We certainly will welcome you back to stay again!
Lake Michigan beaches are the greatest. Our extended family (5 adults, 3 children age 2-8) had a great time. Water and waves were just right for everyone; wind was great for sport kites also. Beach was walkable for a good ways in both directions.
The condo itself accommodated us very well. The kitchen had all the equipment we needed for at home cooking. Given that the weather was good to be outside the whole week, the place was roomy enough for the 8 of us.
The condition of the condo was great -- all in good repair. One minor maintenance problem during the week was handled promptly by communication with the owner. And communication in general was prompt and to the point.
The owners deserve an above and beyond rating for the following. The kids lost a kindle in the apartment, which we could not locate upon leaving. The cleaner found it a week later in the depths of the fold-out couch. The owners took the trouble to package and mail it back to us, for which we all, grandson in particular, are very grateful.
Two other points: we did not find the pull out couch to be useful for us (for sleeping), even though we intended to use it. And, though the place was in excellent condition and overall clean, we did have to do some cleaning on arrival -- wood stairs, some carpets, refrigerator. As others have reported no problems with cleanliness, we expect this was a one-time problem.
My family vacations in Onekama every August in various rental properties and this was one of our favorite places. We had 5 adults and 1 child and there was plenty of room for all of us. The location between onekama and manistee was very convenient and you can’t beat being right on the waterfront! The water was rocky, so it was not ideal for swimming but the sand was great. And such a perfect spot to watch the sunsets over Lake Michigan in the backyard! We did feel a little rushed on check out day when the cleaning crew showed up at 930am, and we were planning to leave at 10am as instructed. But otherwise a great stay!

I am so sorry to hear that the cleaning people showed up earlier than scheduled. I will certainly talk to them, because they are not supposed to start until at least 10 o’clock.
I’m sorry for the inconvenience!
Glad you enjoyed your stay, the view and the sunsets!
Grew up visiting my grandfather's cottage four miles south of location. Always wondered what it would be like to walk to the south Portage Point pier. Now I know! Fantastic visit, fantastic weather.
Brigid and John's home is lovely, and the beach is a short walk across the well manicured lawn to a short flight of steps. They've done a good job outfitting the kitchen so you can be confident that you will not have to bring extra kitchen items with you. We had a wonderful time with the children and really and the neighbors were wonderfully helpful.
We had a wedding to attend in Ludington, so we were looking for some place to stay nearby on the Lake Michigan shoreline. This location was great! Easy access to the beach, beautiful sunsets, roomy interior, and kind neighbors.
