"Auszeit am Weinberg" Vacation Rental – Nature & Valley Views, Bad Iburg

Bright ground-floor holiday apartment in a secluded mountain setting—right next to Lower Saxony’s first vineyard, with a forest behind the house and sweeping views of the valley.

Our holiday apartment is situated in a secluded spot on the hillside above Bad Iburg: in front of the house, there’s a sweeping view across the valley towards Holperdorp; the forest begins right behind the house, and next door lies Lower Saxony’s first vineyard. A place to arrive, take a deep breath, and unwind—ideal for families or two couples who are friends.

Spanning approximately 98 m² on the ground floor (at ground level, no stairs), you’ll find:

2 bedrooms, each with a double bed
a spacious, bright living room with a cosy couch
a fully equipped kitchen with a view of the forest
a bathroom with a tub, shower, and toilet, as well as a separate guest bathroom
Everything is bright, modern, and comfortably furnished. The apartment includes a private parking space right next to the house, a lockable bike garage, and an e-bike charging station. You’re welcome to use the garden and enjoy the view of the valley from your own seating area.

Hiking, biking, and mountain biking start right outside the door: the Teutoburg Forest, with the Hermannsweg and the TERRA.track trails, begins behind the house, and the five mountain bike trails on the Dörenberg are right next door. The treetop walk is within walking distance (featuring a climbing park and adventure mini-golf), and the centre of Bad Iburg—with its castle, spa gardens, and outdoor pool—is a 20–25-minute walk away. Vineyard tours are available right outside the door at Weinhof Brinkmann.

Good to know:

The apartment is on the ground floor; the balcony attached to the house is not part of the holiday rental—but you do have shared use of the garden with a view of the valley.
Non-smoking apartment.
Pets are allowed only by arrangement.
Bed linens and towels are included.
A washing machine is available in the building and may be used by prior arrangement.
