About this property

Newly Built Home on Magician Lake!

Water depth at sea wall is about 6 inches and gets deeper as you go farther out. Great for families with young children. Swimming raft available for use of older children. Ranch style home with air conditioning. Four bedrooms and two full bathrooms. All kitchen utensils provided. Dishwasher included. Sleeps 10 and we have a paddle boat upon availability. 22 foot pontoon boat for rent also upon availability. Sorry no pets.

From the middle of June to the middle August we only rent by the week, Saturday to Saturday.

Great vacation!

Rich & Judy were fantastic hosts! They were very accommodating and helpful. Their property was clean and we'll maintained. We enjoyed talking with them and had a wonderful week at the lake. We are already scheduled to return next year!

Great little cottage

This cottage was so cozy and clean. The lake was absolutely perfect for our children (ages 4-6) as it is very shallow right at the shore. Also, the lake is literally steps out of the back door. Highly recommended! Just be sure to bring your own bedsheets, toiletries and towels (bath and kitchen).

A cute cottage that needs some attention!

While the owners are delightful, of 4 houses I have rented on Magician Lake, this one is in the most disrepair. Broken ceiling fan, missing air vent, broken blinds,,,,cobwebs everywhere, Might stay again if it is updated.

So much fun!

We had a blast on the lake. The house is nice and the kitchen is big. The owner's had family and friends up for the weekend and we enjoyed talking with them. They let us use their bags set and made us feel very comfortable and welcome. I slept on the pullout in the 3 season room and loved it, although the pull-out mattress definitely needs to be replaced. I ended up pulling the other pull-out mattress off the other couch and using both to sleep on, which helped. I would definitely come back.

Great location just feet from the water, very clean and comfortable. Rich and Judy were great hosts and there any time we needed anything or just to answer questions. Made us feel at home.

Wonderful property

We rented two "cottages" from the Lovato's. One slept 10, the other 8. The "cottage" that slept 10 was very roomy. It had a spacious kitchen and plenty of space for eating. The kitchen and bathroom in the "cottage that slept 8 was smaller but doable. Both places were very clean. The pictures do not do justice to either "cottage". There was also ample parking for 4 families. The only thing that I wished that they had was a sandy beach area, as we had five children under the age of 4. All in all we had a wonderful time and the Lovatos' were very accommodating.

Had a fantastic time

Upon arrival, we were greeted and shown the place. It was cozy, clean and extremely close to the water. The air was on when we got there, which made the place pleasantly cool, but the weather was nice enough that we simply shut it off and opened the windows. There is a charcoal grill right on the back porch, that we used for every meal while we stayed, as well as a few lawn chairs and picnic table. If you're into fishing, there is a bait and tackle shop less than a mile away as well. This, combined with the size of the lake led us to rent a pontoon boat, which was affordable and easy to maneuver, even for an amateur boater such as myself. The owners were very gracious and kind; happy to have a chat and laugh, like they were almost part of the family that you don't see often enough. I intend on returning soon, if not this summer/fall, then definitely the next. I can hardly say enough nice things about the little neighborhood, accommodations and the people that invited us into their rental home. Highly recommended, beautiful and relaxing.
