About this property

Spacious 5 Bedroom Lakeside Retreat in the Heart of Wine Country

This outstanding property easily accommodates 10 people in comfort with 4 King Bedrooms (Master has ensuite bathroom) and 2 twin beds in the 5th Bedroom. Two full bathrooms on the 2nd floor with a first floor full bath attached to the master. The kitchen is large and has all the amenities that you will need. The laundry room is perfect to dry your swimclothes and beach towels.
Three window airconditioners assist keeping the home cooler. One in the master, one in upstairs hallway and one in the family room. Each bedroom has a ceiling fan as well as the family room and kitchen.
Enjoy the wrap around second floor deck or relax on the front patio or the huge dock. Take a swim out to the raft or launch your kayak or canoe from the beach. Go skiing or wakeboarding or fishing from your own boat which is easily accommodated on whips on the dock.
Enjoy an evening campfire on the beach or relax in front of the fireplace!
There is ample outdoor space for the kids to run around or throw a ball. The outdoor grilling area is large and there are several picnic tables available to serve large crowds.
There are multiple vineyards to visit within a few miles of the house by car or by boat.

Your home was the perfect place for our group. The bed layout was perfect (and beds were comfortable), all bathrooms modern and upgraded, everyone loved the lake views, we enjoyed the dock, grassy lawn for some volleyball, fire pit, well equipped kitchen, etc!! It was such a special place to celebrate our son’s graduation achievement.The listing gives specific details about the stairs, there are many and they are steep, take heed. This was not an issue for our group.The road to the parking is more rugged than we expected near the end. Our guests were a bit intimidated but we all figured it out and the host was very communicative. Keep going, across the little bridge, you're almost there. Bonus beautiful waterfall next door!Thanks for the wonderful stay.

5 couples enjoying Finger Lakes long weekend

We came from Central PA and Canada to spend the weekend with friends. We enjoyed the Barbecue at Finger Lakes Cider House, a wine tour with Grapevine tours, hike at a few state parks and enjoyed the house and fire pit. Great gathering space. Well equipped kitchen. Great place for family fun

We were able to enjoy all of the water sports that our family wanted, and fishing too. Great quite family spot with quiet evenings sharing around a fire. Close enough to Ithica to take advantage of rainy weather days.

Wonderful lake house for a family reunion

We had a great time at this house! It’s hard to find a big house with king beds and this had 4 so that’s why we picked it originally. The kitchen and living areas were spacious, clean and comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped. The outdoor patio was also very nice but did need a little hosing down when we got there, which was easy to do. We loved the dock and fire pit as well. We rented a nice pontoon boat which was easily docked. The owner was very responsive any time we had a question. I would definitely go back here again.

This is our family cottage. My sister and I manage this property for the family. We have been renting it for the last two years when the family is not using it. My husband and I have a cottage next door.

Why they chose this property

We have been on Holton Beach for the last 50 years. We love the lake because we sail, kayak and canoe. The lake is generally quiet (not alot of motor boat traffic)

What makes this property unique

Ithaca and the parks are 15-20 minutes from our cottage. There are many wineries, distilleries and cider mills in the areas. At the top of our road is the Cayuga Creamery which makes the best homemade ice cream in New York State.
