This open, airy home is situated on a private, wooded 2.5 acres in a golf course community. Architect designed with lots of natural wood, glass and cathedral ceilings, the house is large enough to easily accommodate extended or multiple families. Two living wings are connected by a breezeway and offer plenty of space and privacy. One wing has 3 bedrooms and 3 full baths, kitchen, dining area (seats 8-10 comfortably) and living room with fireplace. This section is not heated. A newer addition (heated) features a large family room with fireplace, kitchenette, and two more bedrooms and 2 full baths. Multiple decks and patios (with lots of furniture and a grill) add lots of private and shady outdoor space. Mink Meadows affords access to a gorgeous stretch of beach, great for swimming and fishing. Golf is also just around the corner. Just over a mile from town, the location is quiet, yet convenient to ferry, shops and restaurants.

Better than advertised!

This house was perfect for our large group of 5 couples- it was designed thoughtfully with 2 nice living spaces, a kitchen and dining room fit everyone. each couple had their own bathroom with a lovely outdoor shower. Very private and the beach is a lovely walk around the golf course. Just perfect- the photos do not do this house justice- its much better!

Comfy rustic modern get away

We picked this place because we loved the woodsy rustic charm for a four day get away - different from the ubiquitous white and blue vacation homes. It’s a neat layout — really two small houses, joined with a little screen porch — with several porches oriented various directions. Feels like you’re in a treehouse!

Great for families!

This house was perfect for our group which consisted of multiple families. There's plenty of space for the group to gather together in the dining room, living room, or on the deck. The bedrooms are comfortable and spread out so it never feels crowded, even when full. The location worked well for us - near town, but in a beautiful and quiet area surrounded by trees and the Mink Meadows golf course. There's a beach close by (walking distance) that's great for walks and the kids loved for collecting shells. I would definitely recommend and can't wait to return - there's something about the setting and exposed wood of the house that relaxes you the moment you arrive.

Perfect family rental

We rented this home for my son's wedding to house family members. With 5 bedrooms and baths, we had no problem getting everyone ready for all the functions. There are many decks and 2 living rooms so groups could gather by ages as well. Unfortunately we were too busy to explore the neighborhood and beach, but it was wonderful to arrive back to a very quiet, woodsy house for rest and relaxation. The owner was very easy and pleasant; I would heartily recommend this property and hope to rent it again in the future.

I rented this house when my daughter decided to get married on Martha's Vineyard. 4 other couples stayed at the home. We were all pleased with the accommodations, the house is beautiful and not far from town. We didn't have time to use the beach and all the other activities available to us. The house would be great for a family vacation, plenty of bedrooms and beds. There are great places to eat, my favorite place was The Little House Café. But there are plenty of great restaurants!!! The owner was very accommodating and helpful, easy to work with.
