Ft Myers Beach is springing back and construction continues everywhere.
EBT is the first beach front condo available for guests north of San Carlos Pass. While the units are ready for guests, contractors are working to complete renovations of the lobbies, laundry facilities and utility rooms on the ground floor.
Much of the landscaping has been done and more continues. We have finished the new shuffleboard, new pickle ball and tennis courts, new bacchii ball and new grills and picnic areas. We still await the city’s approval to open the renovated pool.
The surf, sun and sky have not changed. Beaches are beautiful. Each night you are treated to another spectacular sunset over the Gulf.
From our lanai you have beautiful views -- east to the back-bay estuaries, south to Naples coastline and west to the Gulf of Mexico.
We redecorated after the storm – adding new furniture and appliances. The sitting area has a new sofa and chair; the deck - new chairs and ottoman. The bedroom offers a king bed and lots of dresser and closet storage.
We added a new refrigerator and air fryer/toaster oven to the kitchen to supplement our convection/microwave oven & ceramic cooktop. Coffee lovers can choose either a Keurig or a Cuisinart coffee maker.
We updated the HD cable TV with streaming capabilities and we offer a high-speed, free, private, secure Wi-Fi connection.
Linens, towels, dishes, silverware, beach chairs – all provided. All you need to do is pack your bags and head to the Gulf.
Ft. Myers Beach - has world’s best beach out the back door, or take a short drive just a mile and half South is Lovers Key State Park -- a top ten Florida beach!
If you flew in, you won’t need a car to get around the island. Use the Ft. Myers Beach trolley. It Stops in front of EBT every 35 minutes. Rides are 75 (35 for seniors) cents per person or an all-day pass $1.
If you have a car, you can make excursions to nearby Naples and Fort Myers for site-seeing and shopping, or Sanibel and Captiva for nature trails, eco-kayaking, beach strolling, and shelling.
For the truly adventurous, hop the Fast-Cat boat Key West Express for a day in Key West.
As you come to the island please note, many of the pre-hurricane shops are gone. For instance, Santini Plaza across the street from EBT is still undergoing massive renovations. Around the island new restaurants and bars are opening each week. Closeby CVS and Publix reopened this fall. To help you find where to go look for current maps and guide books at various outlets that advertise island retailers: spas, marina, bikes, jet-ski & boat rentals, sport fishing, and tour boat operations.
