Beautiful Property
It was the most comfortable place I have stayed in a very long time. Peaceful setting open view to the river. Wonderful place. We are planning our next visit there again this year sometime soon.

Exceeded expectations!
Perfect place for a family get together. Never felt crowded even with 7 adults and 7 children. The setting is amazing and the accommodations very comfortable. I can’t speak highly enough of this wonderful place and the above and beyond service we received during the week. It will be a family tradition...
I came with my parents, my kids, my siblings and their kids. There was plenty of room and we had the best time. The views are incredible from both inside and out. The house has everything you need to have a relaxing vacation, fully stocked kitchen, plenty of linens and towels. We caught crayfish in the river, had bon fires every night and took advantange of all the things the town had to offer. Thank you!!
The house is spacious and well appointed. Lots of the the basics in the kitchen like salt and pepper etc. Tons of blankets and pillows, most of the beds are comfortable. The house is very spacious and we happened to be there on a hot weekend so the river access was awesome. The owner was kind and super accommodating. Nice hot tub, beautiful views. There is definitely some noise from the road, but that may have been more than usual because of the holiday weekend. Overall, I highly recommend Pete's place. My family loved it there and was sad to leave

Don’t stay here
Owners/hosts very nice, house had dead flies on the window sills, dust on furniture. Owner was building next door so contruction debris everywhere, also had 5 dogs penned up that barked all day beginning at 6am. There was also household items strewn everywhere at his other property in front of our rental. Extremely noisy highway approx. 300 feet away
We have family in OR and come to the coast about 4x a year to fish the rivers and bays around Tillamook. This house is my absolute favorite. The views out back of the Wilson River are so gorgeous and its location is super close to town, numerous boat launches and Alice’s Country House restaurant is just a couple miles up the road. The home is clean, the kitchen well-stocked, appliances are new and the furnishings are nice for a vacation rental.
This home is very close to a 2 lane Hwy so there is some vehicle noise but not obnoxious.
My only issue is the address that was given to us. The house number does not match the house number on the actual house. Also, this house (and the 3 other homes) have a designated street sign for the private driveway. We arrived after dark, and if it wasn’t for the fact that we know this area very well, we would have been lost and confused. Providing more clarity would save a lot of frustration.

Overall had a great stay. check out process includes wash, dry and fold towels, wash sheets, as well as wash dry and put away dishes in addition to the things normally asked such as take out trash, lock doors etc. so plan to spend all of check out day getting things done from the check out list. When we started preparing our first meal we noticed several dirty dishes in the cabinets and many of the glasses were chipped/cracked. There were plenty of dishes and silverware and such for our group of 8. The dishes need to be checked. The beds were all comfortable and there was a variety of very firm and springy to very soft and squishy so something for everyone. The hot tub was pretty gross when we took the cover off on night one, so I sent a message and the host responded quickly and sent someone out around noon the next day to drain and refill it. The reason I gave less stars for the listing being accurate is that the furniture is pretty worn, which you don’t see in the photos, the outdoor furniture is all different, there is a cover over the hot tub - like a gazebo, which is not in the photos and we lugged a pop up canopy with us to cover it in case of rain - which would have been nice to leave at home. The photos are a little deceiving and our expectations were based on that and the listing, so we felt a little disappointed at first. Overall everything worked out and the space was pretty good. The back yard views were wonderful and we saw a bald eagle fly over 2 days.
We love this property. 2nd time we have stayed there. Pleasantly surprised with some Christmas decorations this time which really was the icing on top! Had everything we needed in kitchen and throughout. Great place to bring your doggos. Will definitely keep going back!!
The house was amazing, river as well. Pete was very welcoming. They gave us recommendations for restaurants. Downside is that the houses on the property are very close. I thought from the pictures it would be more secluded. However we would stay there again. Very roomy and close to many things to do.
We rented this property for a family vacation due to it's size and location on the river. The property was beautiful and the home was large and found it very clean inside. The beds were very comfortable and the jacuzzi was used often and enjoyed as well. The view from the living / dining area and upper master are stunning and although it could have used newer posts and pans and wine glasses, the kitchen was sufficient for a large group. Having a washer and dryer to use was an added bonus however having to wash and dry and fold all towels prior to leaving was a bit much especially having a group of 8 people staying there. It took most of the evening and part of next day to do this required task along with having to start the sheets from all the beds as well. We also noticed quite a bit of bird droppings all around the property and the windows were very dirty and had bird droppings on them as well which was a bit of a disappointment when looking out at the river view so we would suggest a good window cleaning prior to guests arriving. One other suggestion would be to add some hooks to the bedroom and bathroom areas for towels, etc. to be hung when there are multiple people using the rooms and needing areas for hanging of shower towels. Lastly, it was noted in some of the reviews that the road was nearby but couldn't be heard when in the house. This was partially true although we could hear it but when outside trying to enjoy the peace of the river, the noise from the neighboring highway and bridge was constant and very loud. Nothing to be done about it but just make sure you are aware of this and ok with it. One last suggestion would be to put a partition or fence between the neighboring houses so that when using the jacuzzi or outside on the patio you are not infringing on the other guest's privacy. All in all it is a great property, Pete was wonderful and gave us a tour of the property prior to our stay and was very friendly. Other than the few suggestions, it is a beautiful property and home for a vacation.
Great house for coast fishing. Very nice cleaning station big freezers to freeze our catch. Owner and management very good to work with. House is very roomy and clean. Location was awesome with the river and access to trails
3 families got together for a week. Plenty of space. Hot tub was great. Great to have washer dryer. Location was good for an easy/ short drive to coastal activities. Wonderful to have access to the wilson river. Other reviews were accurate that this place is close to the road so we were expecting that to be the case. Did not bother us as we knew to expect this. Plenty of parking. The home was clean. Nice big dining room table for games.
What a great place! Beds are comfortable, house was clean and the Pete the property manager was wonderful. My only complaint would be the amount of cob webs and bird poop outside. It needed a good hosing down but other than that, it was perfect!
Been coming out the past three years to visit the coast and chase Steelhead. Pete is always an amazing host.
