Great place. Spacious, clean with all the little extras you could want. The extra room off the main house was undersold; it was fantastic. The people who run the property were super friendly. Eric even cooked us up a bunch of crab he had caught. It was really kind and thoughtful.
This house is fantastic. It was just two of us this time but there is so much room for a large group. The kitchen has everything one would need except for cookie sheets. It is right next to Hwy 6 but it was still quiet except for the truckers. I couldn't get the pellet stove to put out heat which was a bummer. The lights above the hot tub didn't come on and the deck was slippery but the hot tub itself was large and very relaxing. I will definitely come back again! Also, the ice and water on the fridge didn't work so there was no ice the first night until we could buy some.
The house had a very comfortable, homey feel. Manager was quick to respond and solve our issues. Even offered a credit back when we discovered there had been a scheduling issue and the house keeper had not shown up to make the beds or take the garbage out. Even with the minor hiccup it was a great stay
We booked this place for our family of 3 with 2 dogs. The hosts, Annie and Peter, were very accommodating, inviting, and so lovely to chat with! The check in process was easy and extremely helpful for our stay on the property.
The house is beautifully done with comfortable furniture and beds, the best by far in all of the places we have stayed! The decor gives one a sense of being home and is overall a relaxing feeling walking in. There were even extra comforts not listed in the description that were a welcomed surprise ;)
The kitchen is stocked with EVERY appliance big and small that you could possibly need to cook and bake. Including all the cookware, bake ware, and tools needed to make whatever you desire. I have been to places that say "fully stocked" kitchens to much disappointment, I do admit I brought things along to cook with that I did not need.
The River Room "Annie's Room" is by far the most cozy part of the entire home, and was my favorite part of the home! The French doors open to a deck overlooking the river. If we weren't traveling with the fam, just booking the River Room would have been relaxing enough for us!
The hot tub was well maintained and very clean, much appreciated in a rental unit. Our dogs had so much room to run, play, and explore the river. There is truly no reason to leave the property once there with all you need for the week. We would have happily stayed for the next year!!
Thank you Annie and Peter!
This was a fun and relaxing 4 day getaway for my husband and I.
I’m familiar with the area as my parents lived in Garibaldi for 35 years, but hadn’t explored Tillamook in MANY years.
We hiked along the coast and came back to the hot tub to relax!
Highly recommended for a great getaway, especially if you’re a fisherman 🥰
Overall had a good time. As others note the hot tub is great - clean, big, easy to use. The furniture is in above average condition. Everything else feels run down. Floors were pretty dirty when we cleaned up some water with a paper towel. Bedding and towels outdated. Exterior painting needed. Most annoying aspect was the daily 8am watering of the “plants”. It was so loud. Not sure why it needs to be on everyday as there are not much vegetation that needs watered and it rarely is over 70 degrees. Good stay but would want more for 2023 pricing.
The property was nice, great amenities, kitchen well stocked with appliances etc. Disappointed with the cleaning fee being so high as we were asked to wash & dry the towels and wash the bed linens. We were happy to do it but not sure why the fee was so high if the expectation was that we would do the laundry.
Absolutely loved this home from the comfortable beds to the amazing hot tub . This house was a great retreat after a long cold day fishing on the Wilson river .
The house was clean and well supplied with everything needed for the stay. The hot tub is in a nice spot for a soak. The beds are comfortable. Nice open area with the kitchen a living room for gathering. It's a quick trip into town for supplies and easy to get to outdoor activities.
This house was absolutely perfect! It provided everything that we needed for a get together with family. We had reserved this house shortly before the pandemic hit and we regretfully had to cancel our stay. We reserved again a year later and we are so glad that we did. We enjoyed spending our evenings on the back patio & cooking in the well stocked kitchen. The pups had plenty of room to explore. We hope to make this our annual family vacation destination. Thanks for sharing your home with us.
Overall the home was comfortable and cozy. It's tucked away along the river just outside of town, providing a cozy place to relax with just enough distance to amenities. The property management company and owner were quick to respond to any questions we had. Everyone bent over backward to ensure our stay was enjoyable. The house also has a hot tub, outdoor fireplace for roasting marshmallows, etc and a nice wide deck with plenty of seating for relaxing. We returned home refreshed and invigorated, thank you!
Getaway by the river! The two houses were better than advertised and our group o10 had great fun.
The homes were great, the grounds spacious and the general view fantastic! The kitchens were spacious and well equipped. Huge Tv’s made for fun with our Wii games. Only down side, and it wasn’t major, was traffic noise. Properties are right next to highway and big trucks roll and on early in morning. Plenty of play space for dogs. Managers on site or readily available for any issues. We will certainly be back!
Great place for a family gathering. We had a wonderful time. The road noise can be loud at night but a sound machine can help cover that up.
Thank you Pete and Annie!😊
location is a bit noisy, bridge on main hwy right next to the house. The dogs didnt like that at all, so my daughter left with the dogs. There is swimming for the kids. Master suite was fantastic. Hot tub was great. If your looking for privacy, this is not the place.
Pete and the red head lady are very welcoming! Great, fun and clean place right on the river! They set us up with 300 clay pidgins, it was trap shooting at its best!
This was a truly lovely little house- spacious, beautifully decorated, well appointed and comfortable. We really enjoyed the hot tub, the kitchen, and the heated bathroom floors. The location is exactly as described, with easy river and hiking access. The property managers met us at check-in and made sure we knew all about the house. They could not have been nicer folks. The only thing I would like to change is that the house could use a private fire pit- there is a shared one on the property, but it's a little large if all you want to do is make s'mores.
our stay was awesome on this beautiful property. Anne and Pete are do nice, friendly, and super cool. very good people. I would recommend this property to other

Family fun
We came as a family for a fishing trip. The house was very accommodating and beds are comfortable. There were no lights or heat on when we arrived at 6:30pm and it took awhile for the rooms to heat up, but once they did it was cozy. It is not as secluded as the oline site portrays. The river view off the bedroom back deck was beautiful, but not secluded. The hot tub was nice, just that we had to call to find the back-up key. Doing our towels and sheets at checkout is not the way I like to end my stay.
We really enjoyed our stay here! The home had everything we needed and then some - the hot tub was fantastic! Annie, the property manager and Pete, the owner are two of the nicest people you'll likely ever meet. The location was great, right on the river with private beach access. We loved having a nightly bonfire at the firepit and paying with Pete's sweet dog, Packer. I highly recommend this home for your next getaway, we will surely return!
