About the host
Hosted by Matt Hazell
My father grew up in this house that was purchased by my grandfather in 1900 and remains in our family to this day. I grew up in Temecula, California and moved to Boston in 2018 to become a locksmith, as my full time job, and help manage the family business when I am not working. This house has two separate addresses; I reside in the lower unit of 41 Dighton Street and the vacation rental is 43 Dighton. All of the pictures and information on this site refer to the vacation rental unit of 43 Dighton.
Why they chose this property
Boston offers world-class universities, a rich history, majestic rivers, harbors and parks, famous sport venues, a diverse culture, fantastic food and a truly unique atmosphere.
Here are only a few of the things to do in Boston:
• See a game at Fenway Park (or take a tour in the offseason)
• Visit Harvard, MIT, BC, BU, Northeastern or the other great universities
• Tour the city on a Duck Boat
• See the Boston Marathon finish line
• Ride the swan boats in the Public Gardens
• Visit the Cheers Bar next to the Boston Common
• Catch the Boston Pops orchestra on the Charles River
• See Faneuil Hall and then browse the shops in Quincy Market
• Explore the many Boston museums
• Visit Trinity Church in Copley Square and then stop for lunch along Newbury Street
• Walk the Freedom Trail and climb Bunker Hill
• Visit the Boston Tea Party Museum and then tour Old Ironsides
• See Paul Revere’s house and the Old North Church
• Eat great Italian food in the North End or delicious Seafood on the Waterfront.
As much as this great American city has to offer, it’s only the beginning. The rest of New England has tons to offer as well.
Here are only a few of the things to do in New England:
• Visit the fantastic beaches on Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket
• Head to Maine to have lobster along its rocky coast on the way to Acadia National Park
• See Old Man Mountain in the White Mountains of New Hampshire
• Travel through rural Vermont on route to Montreal, Canada.
• Visit the historic mansions of Newport, Rhode Island
• Stop in the seaport village of Mystic, Connecticut.
And if you have your sights set on more than just New England, you can always make the 200 mile drive to New York City. In short, you’ll never run out of things to do during your visit to Boston!

What makes this property unique
It’s very difficult to find a large home with a large yard and off street parking that is conveniently located in a very safe Boston Neighborhood close to Boston’s main attractions. The house is only 200 yards from Brighton Center’s shops, pubs and restaurants and just 5 miles from Downtown Boston.
