We really enjoyed staying at the "bunkhouse" and using it as a very comfortable base for hiking in the Beartooth Mountains. Our room was charmingly furnished and perfectly clean, and Doug and Karen were great hosts.
I stayed here with a group of friends toexplore dirtbike trails near the east edge of Yellowstone NP. This is a wonderful stay, the owners very friendly and accommodating and maintain a beautiful property with great views and privacy. I highly recommend it!

Doug and Karen were great hosts! They let us get into our space early, we were on a motorcycle and needed to go pickup some groceries. Doug was very knowledgeable about the area and did a great job showing us around the place
We felt very welcome here. The owners are onsite and were very informative of conditions in the area as well as spots we might enjoy visiting. Thankfully we had good weather as the cooking facilities are completely outdoors with the exception of a microwave and coffee maker. Be prepared to cook and do dishes completely outside on a 2 burner gas stove and grill. We enjoyed this and the view from the cooking area was spectacular. There are many beautiful hikes or overlooks to enjoy that are nearby.

A beautiful place to stay.
The bunkhouse was a lovely place to stay for our short visit. Doug and Karen have created a wonderful retreat to "get away from it all" for awhile. They were both very gracious to share their home with us and offered several suggestions of things to see and places to eat in Cody. If you are looking for cozy, comfortable accommodations in a beautiful and quiet location, don't pass this up. Definitely a place we will want to return to!

We really enjoyed our stay. The place was spotless and very convenient to Yellowstone and Beartooth Highway. Doug and Karen were very friendly. They have a lovely property and the views from the outdoor kitchen and hot tub are pretty spectacular. We stayed at the park long days but really enjoyed the outdoor kitchen the times we were at the bunkhouse. Would highly recommend this stay to anyone looking.

We loved our stay -- the hosts were very thoughtful and accommodating. They went out of their way to provide little necessities that showed their attention to detail. The room and facilities were immaculate. And at 24 miles from the NE entrance to Yellowstone, we were away from crowds and able to enjoy peaceful, relaxing nights.

Breathtaking get away
Doug, Karen and their sweet dog Callie were super hosts. The place is beautiful with high end touches. The owners even invited us to a campfire complete with s'mores. The directions were right on point, and appreciated since there is no internet close to the house. So peaceful and the views are spectacular.

My Husband and I stayed in Doug and Karen’s bunkhouse for our honeymoon. We could not have asked for a more scenic and relaxing place to stay. Not only was the property itself beautiful but the bunkhouse was very comfortable and cozy. The outdoor kitchen was an added bonus! Doug and Karen were very welcoming and informative. We will definitely recommend their bunkhouse to all of our friends and family and would love to have the opportunity to stay here again in the future.
