Un séjour sans souci, conforme à ce que nous recherchions : la nature, le calme, des possibilités de balades plus ou moins proches, des visites pour découvrir la région. Toutefois il ne faut pas hésiter à prendre la voiture pour une certaine distance et à circuler sur des petites routes étroites et sinueuses qui nous plongent au cœur de la campagne aveyronaise. De belles découvertes vous attendent.

Enjoyable stay at Comps la Grand Ville

After arriving at Comps la Grand Ville later than planned, we were greeted with a smile from host Claudine who showed us around the gite and explained all we needed to know about the property which was spacious, well equipped and comfortable. Claudine had also been thoughtful enough to leave us a large very enjoyable home made cake. We found Claudine and Bernard to be very approachable and they were happy to answer any inquiries we had. Claudine who is happy to practice her English also ensured that we knew where all the local places of interest where to be found. In summary we found Claudine and Bernard to be excellent hosts and we would recommend a stay at their gite in Comps la Grand Ville.

A great find! Wonderful hosts, very large and comfortable accommodation, and an excellent location!

(French version, compliments Google translate - see English version below) Ce gîte est le plus confortable que nous ayons jamais séjourné - tout le nécessaire pour un bon séjour est fourni, plus quelques bons extras! L'accueil de nos hôtes a été délicieux, tout comme le gateau traditionnel local fourni comme une surprise d'arrivée, plus un grand bol de cerises fraîchement cueillies à mi-séjour. Deux chambres de grande taille nous ont accueillis confortablement et nos deux filles, plus une grande salle de bains, et une zone d'étude aussi - tout extrêmement propre et bien meublé. Les informations touristiques fournies ont couvert la région de l'Aveyron de manière exhaustive, et d'autres documents d'histoire locale. Nos hôtes ont également fourni des vélos pour des excursions à proximité. L'emplacement est excellent pour accéder à la plupart de l'Aveyron, et tous les services, y compris les bons supermarchés, ne sont pas loin de La Primaube. Une très bonne boulangerie bio artisanale se trouve à quelques pas de la maison. La cuisine pleine grandeur a tout le nécessaire pour la cuisine à la maison - four complet, micro-ondes et plaque de cuisson à la table This gite is the most comfortable we have ever stayed in - everything necessary for a good stay is provided, plus some nice extras! The welcome from our hosts was delightful, as was the local traditional gateau provided as an arrival surprise, plus a large bowl of freshly picked cherries mid-stay. Two full-size bedrooms very comfortably accommodated us and our two daughters, plus a large bathroom, and a study area as well - all extremely clean and well-furnished. The tourist information provided covered the Aveyron area comprehensively, and other local history documents as well. Our hosts also provided bicycles to use for nearby excursions. The location is excellent for access to most of the Aveyron, and all services including good supermarkets are not far away in La Primaube. A very good artisan bio bakery is a short walk from the house. The full-sized kitchen has everything necessary for home cooking - full oven, microwave and benchtop cook-plate.

Location de grande qualité

Nous avons passé 3 semaines de vacances dans ce gîte et franchement, que du bonheur ! Gîte bien équipé, pratique et idéalement placé pour visiter l'Aveyron. Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques et multiplient les petites attentions à l'égard de leurs locataires. Et pour ne rien gâcher, l'Aveyron est un endroit magnifique que nous avons découvert avec grand plaisir ! Bref, toutes les conditions sont réunies pour passer d'excellentes vacances.

Très bon séjour sous le soleil

Gite en sortie de village, bien équipé, calme, extérieurs très bien entretenus, belle terrasse pour manger et pour qui veut prendre le soleil (des petits transats seraient bienvenus). Tout est à voir dans un périmètre de 50-60 kms (bastides, chateaux, superbes villages...) et même au delà. Très belle région. Propriétaires sympathiques et accueillants. Nous avons apprécié les haricots frais du jardin. Un boulanger à deux pas qui fait du pain excellent surtour le pain au lin.
