Modern Luxury and Southern Comfort~McGee's Folly

One of Folly's Best! This beautiful and spacious modern home offers 4 bedrooms and 4 full baths. The owner spares no expense in maintaining the property to the highest standards. It has hardwood floors and tile throughout the downstairs with carpeted bedrooms. You will find a huge kitchen and dining area with all the necessary cookware you need to make wonderful meals throughout your vacation, and a full washer and dryer. There are 4 bedrooms w/5 queen beds. One bedroom is downstairs with an en suite bathroom and there is an additional bedroom upstairs with an en suite as well. The 2 other guest bedrooms upstairs share a hall bathroom. A fourth full bathroom is located downstairs. McGee's Folly has a TV/DVD/Cable in the living room. Both levels have huge porches with rocking chairs so you can sit and relax. It also has a large outside shower to rinse off after the beach. The yard is beautifully landscaped and a driveway accommodates 4 vehicles. McGee's Folly does not allow pets. *Please note: owners store two vehicles and a boat under the house on the 4th block side* All photos are current and accurately depict the property. Great Location and House

The house is an easy walk straight to the beach access, the upstairs bedrooms are very comfortable, the kitchen and dining area are great, the porch is awesome.

Great stay in Folly

We had a couples weekend in Folly Beach with 3 other couples. The house was very clean and perfect for what we were needing, only a couple of blocks from all of the dining as well as the beach. We will check here first the next time we are looking for a Folly trip again!

Location is amazing

Great protest, lots of room, and having 4 baths made it easy. The house has 2 amazing balconies that we used for hours at night to have great conversations. Would have liked to have a fire pit and beach chairs as a suggestion for future renters. Overall fantastic visit.

We had a wonderful time at McGee's Folly! Six adults and one toddler were very comfortable here...a VERY short walk to the beach and Center Street as well as amazing rocking chair porches. You would definitely enjoy time spent here!

Girlfriends weekend

The place was great and only two blocks from the beach and a few blocks to town. No need to drive anywhere. Even though it rained, we were able to sit outside on the covered porch. The whole trip was really a great experience.

We enjoyed our stay at the property. We were essentially beach bums all week so the short walk to Folly Beach made the vacation fun and simple. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware and dishes, and we made heavy use of it. The home accommodated all 8 of us easily. We would certainly return again in the future.

Lovely Home!

The house and location suited our family perfectly. It was far enough away from the Main Street to keep things quiet at bedtime and a 3 minute walk to the beach. We plan to stay at this property again upon our return to Folly Beach! *We cooked two meals a day and found the kitchen to be well stocked with everything we needed in the way of dishes, pots and pans, and other small appliances.

fantastic family vacation house

First trip to Folly Beach and this house did not disappoint at all. It is 2 very very short blocks to the beach, around the corner from Burt's 24 hour market and a few blocks to the main drag in town. The location is just the beginning of what makes this place great. The house is spectacular with respect to its condition and what's included. The kitchen has everything you need, the porches and rockers are fantastic, beds were super comfortable, and the house is very well-appointed. Linens are included and as an added bonus, the rental company provides a nice start up package (laundry pods, paper towels, garbage bags, etc.) that was all that we needed. Really the house is move in ready and was absolutely perfect for 2 families with 2 kids each to share. Also, we were in the area to split time between the shore and Charleston and it was very easy to get into and out of the city from the area. Two thumbs up on this great property. What a great place to ring in the new year.

This property is better than the description. It’s a very short walk to the beach and the town of Folly Beach is lovely.
