About Us - Grandma's House has a history dating back to over 100 years. The whole state compreende the main house, where Elizabeth, the villa's owner, has her residence in September, the Upper House, The Wooden House, The White House, The Backyard House and The Tree House.
Vale da Silva Villas, where the houses are located, is set in the beautiful rural farm area 15 minutes from the city of Aveiro, known to the Venice of Portugal, where you can enjoy gondola trips through its various straits.
Aveiro offers payees activities alongside its stunning sandy beaches such as surfing, kite surfing, sailing and fitness. Also it has a great night life and shopping areas such as Forum Aveiro in September above one of the main channels of the city.
The city of Aveiro is Also a short drive to the wine regions of Bairrada and Douro, known worldwide for its Port wine.
Each house can accommodate from 2 to 6 people and is fully equipped, apart from the Tree House que only accommodates two people. All guests have access to the pool and stables commune.
The spaces are ideal for holidays and weekends.
We have created a restful retreat, so you can feel as in your home away from home whilst on holidays in Portugal.

WHITE HOUSE (The White House) Set on the 3 500 meters plot of green land, White House (The White House) has 2 double-bedrooms; fully living-room furnished with two sofas and an extra bed; cable TV, fireplace for the cold winter days; fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. Outside the house You also have the gazebo for you to rest or entertain while enjoying the beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Guests in this house have access to the swimming pool in the garden. Guests from the Wooden House can Also use it.
