Solar da Vila I, 1st floor

The Solar da Vila is a villa dating from 1922 with a strong historical plot. It was fully restored respecting its architectural design, with the care of providing the current comfort standards, mixing the old with the modern, both the furniture and the paintings, authored by the artist Filipe Patrício.
The villa consists of two independent apartments: Solar da Vila I and Solar da Vila II, with garden, swimming pool and private park, situated in the center of Estarreja, in central Portugal.
Solar da Vila I (located on the first floor of the villa) features a living room with cable TV and a nice balcony. Three suites with private bathroom, a kitchen with dining area and equipped with all appliances including dishwasher and coffee maker. It has Wi-fi in all interior and exterior spaces.
In the exterior space has a large garden with pool of seasonal salt, toilet, leisure space and 6 bicycles, which are common to Solar da Vila II (located on the ground floor of the villa).
You can also use the washing machine in the annex of the garden.
Capacity of guests: 6 people.
Solar da Vila also has a private parking for up to five cars.
The Solar da Vila I is all for guests. The owners will, however, have access to some storage areas, the pool and the garden to maintain them.

Amazing place to stay

I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Anything you need is in walking distance (including a playground!). The property itself was cozy and spacious. Host was supportive and helpful.

Wonderful property

We really enjoyed our stay at Solar da Villa. It is a large and well equipped property in a great location to explore the Porto area without all the hustle and bustle of the city. The host is always available with helpful hints and suggestions.

A luxurious week away

The property was impeccably clean and our hosts friendly, welcoming and attentive, without being overbearing. Our family spent a lovely week in Estarreja. The salt water pool kept a temperature the high 20s, meaning it was particularly glorious on hot days. The shared garden space worked well, but having private balconies to ourselves was a welcome bonus. The en suite rooms are comfortable and all the basics are taken care of. The property is conveniently located close to the main square and we loved the excellent bakeries nearby. Being close to the train line between Aveiro and Porto made days out easy and inexpensive. We enjoyed visiting the beach, a short car ride away, and there was plenty to do in the local area - the canned fish museum in Murtosa and the water mill in Ul were particular favourites. We would happily return.

Très belle et agréable villa

Notre séjour en famille (4 adultes et deux enfants) à été très agréable !! L’accueil par les deux propriétaires à été optimal !! La villa et la propriété sont entretenues avec soin. La piscine est vraiment un plus pour les enfants (et les grands 😅) car la mer est assez loin en voiture. Merci encore pour ces quelques jours passés chez vous !! Celina.

Amazing house, beautifully renovated.

We rented the first floor of this house for 8 days. The house is beautiful and has everything you could want. The hosts, Margarida and Mercedes are lovely and very helpful. Lots of outdoor space with seating and BBQ and a great pool. The location is great, just a short walk from shops, bars and restaurants and well positioned for visiting Porto, Aveiro and many other places.

Grande villa au calme.

Nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances à Estarreja qui est une petite ville tranquille à proximité d'Aveiro. La villa est magnifique et très confortable, avec un équipement adapté.
